Product Description

Gaspard and Marion are in love and enjoying summer in the south of France... until they stumble upon a lost cell phone. At first they decide to track down the owner... But the game takes a much darker turn when they find him dead, in a mysterious suicide ceremony. Next to him, lies a half unconscious girl, Audrey. With her enigmatic tattoo and her gothic looks, she soon lures Gaspard into Black Hole, a dangerously addictive video game.

Top Customer Reviews

Format: DVD
This was described to me as science fiction but its not, its a film about relationships in this world and the world of an online game. Its French title is actually 'L'autre monde' or 'The other world'. It follows a young Frenchman called Gaspard who is in loove with his pretty girl next door sort of girlfriend. They foil a suicide bid in a quarry and rescue a glamourous blonde with a mysterious tattoo. This leads Gaspard into an online game called 'Black Hole' where he encounters said blonde's avatar and gets embroiled in her life both on and offline. Anyone who plays online will know that no one is ever who they appear to be and that is the plot that leads to the brutal finale. This isn't a great film and has definite leanings towards 'Blue Velvet' but it is the sort of film that will keep you watching to find out what happens next.
It is in French with subtitles.
