In every collection there's always one or two items that prove hard to find and/or expensive to acquire, and this is one of them - quite why, I don't know. Travis (played by Stephen Baldwin) is a disturbed lone farmer who lives and works on the outskirts of a small town. There he meets Kelly Ann (Jennifer Rubin), who 'accidentally drops by' and ends up staying. Estate Agent Jolene (Patsy Kensit) then enters the scene the triangle is complete and the intrigues begin. The start of the film (which depicts the abusive father of Travis) is hard to follow and easy to miss, so it might take more than one viewing. As the film progresses at a steady pace it's obvious that the women are up to something. Why else would they need to give Travis a second look? More I will not say so as not to spoil your entertainment. As far as thrillers go this rates as very good, spoiled only by a slightly implausible ending and a little over-the-top acting by the dumb country police. A very entertaining watch though as Jennifer Rubin sizzles, Patsy Kensit smoulders and Stephen Baldwin plays his disturbed character well throughout the film. One for the collectors but at a premium price. Just one word of caution though - the Dutch Version (in English without subtitles) has a 12 rating on the cover. With the content in mind and in view of a couple of erotic scenes. this would rate at least a PG and probably warrant an 18 certificate in the UK.
