Would you like to tell us about a lower price?
Bitfenix Nova delivers style, performance and silence at an incredibly competitive price. Whether you plan to build a basic office, home or gaming system, Novas simplistic design, aluminum badge, color options and optional window side panel mean it will blend in perfectly. Long air vents running along the sides of its front, hidden behind sleek mesh strips, provide plenty of airflow to cool the system. And as a result allowed us to keep Novas Top and Front panel completely closed to block fan-noise from escaping the enclosure, and dust from building up inside.
To seal fan noise inside the chassis, we developed a closed front panel for NOVA. Concealed behind a our signature mesh strips running along the sides of the front panel, lie a series of 134 air vents, that let fresh air stream into the case effortlessly. Thanks to this noise-shield design of a raised, closed front panel with side vents, NOVA is capable of keeping even powerful components supplied with the airflow required to keep them cooled adequately, all the while confining the fan-noise to the interior of the chassis.
NOVA offers a dual 120mm fan intake in the front, and a single 120mm exhaust in the rear, which when fully equipped results in excellent cooling performance, and a net positive air pressure inside the chassis, greatly reducing the buildup of dust. The frontal fan vents are positioned to channel fresh air directly over the storage drives, and onto the GPU and CPU, while the rear fan vent is positioned right above the CPU and supports even high-performance closed water-cooling systems.
Black & white
NOVA is available in pitch black and pure white to match your environment and perfectly blend in - whether you plan a stealthy, dark, classy build or a modern, clean, pure looking white system.
Nothing to hide
While purists probably opt for the solid steel side panel version of NOVA to create a completely closed, monolithic build, we created an optional window side panel to let you and others have a look at all the nice parts, while conveniently hiding the less interesting and appeasing looking ones. Combined with color matched components and LED fans and light strips NOVAs large window allows you to create a truly unique and impressive looking system.
NOVA supports up to four full size 3.5" hard drives, two 2.5" compact hard drives or SSDs and features a full size 5.25" optical disc drive slot. More than enough for a brand new build, and plenty of space to migrate over older drives from an existing system.
Front Panel Interface
The angled front panel Interface of NOVA makes it easy to reach and use whether its on the floor, raised, or even standing on your desk. The large round power button is easy to find without even looking, while the reset button is purposely kept small and at the side of the panel. Two High Definition audio ports let you quickly connect a headset for a Skype call or to listen to your favorite music.
To prevent dust from building up inside your power supply, causing its fan to spin at unnecessarily high speeds or even overheat and shut down, NOVA comes bundled with a dust filter you can quickly rinse and slide back. This not only reduces noise, but increases the lifetime of your power supply and keeps your system running reliably for years on-end.
Assembly in 1-2-3
All the mainboard stand-offs come pre-installed, cutting down the time and effort of installing a system inside NOVA significantly.
High Performance Cooling
NOVA supports High Performance 120mm closed loop water coolers and CPU Heatsinks with a height of up to 160mm. And thanks to a large cut-out on the mainboard tray, installing optional metal brackets to support the additional weight of performance coolers is as easy as sliding off the rear side-panel to access the mainboards backside.
With 7 expansion slots and a supported graphics card height of over 140mm, NOVA is ready for modern GPUs with a raised PCBs and larger, quieter heatsinks that extend beyond the traditional 110mm expansion card height.

I was surprised to find this in my price range and my previous Bitfenix was much more expensive and I actually bought it 2nd hand. It's easily the best quality case I had ever bought though. So this one, at the same price as a budget case, was a no-brainer for me. The slightly more understated looks suited me but I had started to like the idea of a window as seen in the gaming cases.
It arrived well packed and intact a couple of days later, on unboxing it was rather ordinary looking but exactly the right size, and the front ports are in the ideal place if your PC is situated lower down like mine. When putting it all together it was definitely better quality than the previous two budget cases I had used, but not quite in the same league as my other premium Bitfenix case. Crucially it felt rigid and strong and made of actual metal, as where the last cases I had felt like tin foil.
The PSU goes in the bottom but actually that doesn't really cause a major issue, there's also not loads of space to work on a full ATX board but it does fit and you can connect everything without issue. Looking at the depth of it, I am not sure if a one of those massive after market air coolers would fit? You might want to check that as it might be touching the window. I am not the worlds greatest builder but it was fairly straightforward to tidy the cables a bit but not to full on gaming presentation standards. I don't think you could easily route them under the board like some people do.
It comes with a Bitfenix branded 120mm PWM fan which is fine but I wanted to use fans for lighting too. So I have three case fans, two in the front and one in the back, they are led slimmer, but not slimline ones and they provide just enough light along with the "gaming" motherboard lights, to make the window worth having.
However! I had to MODIFY the drive bay slightly at the front to fit the 2nd fan in above the first. I could not get the original Bitfenix fan or a regular 120mm fan to fit in there, I had to use the slimmer LED fans and even then modify the case slightly. With a bit of planning and maybe a proper slimline fan you could get away without it.
All the buttons, ports and lights work fine and are well labelled and it was fairly easy to route and install. I was expecting the whole power button to light up blue, or something more dramatic. In keeping with its rather understated form there's just two boring round leds, red for HDD and ice white for the power.
There is one bay for an optical drive, and I know some systems might leave them out these days, but I put my black DVDRW drive in and the contrast with looks OK. AFAIK you won't find a polar white DVD drive fascia unless you paint it or something! It comes with some plastic easy release mountings for the DVD drive bay which work well. There's also matching white tool-less case screws for the two side panels.
Overall, I'd say mid range quality for budget price and ideal if you're looking for slightly smaller or more modest styling gaming case.
I have only given this product 4 stars because the plastic window scratches very easy and isn't the strongest thing in the world. Inside the case it has cable management but not as much as i'd of likes. I still prefer the NZXT case look and will probably upgrade in the future but for a starter cheap case it does the job.
Firstly, this case features a single USB 3, a single USB 2 and Input/Output audio ports. The HD and Power LED's work perfectly as does everything else situated on the front panel of the case. The only negative comment on this that I carry is that the power switch (more of a button) is dodgy, sometimes it sticks down after pressing it and so my computer spazzes out indecisive of whether it should turn on or off.
The build is what you get for the price. Plastic all around bar the removable side panels , the white variant is something to be desired at first view. It is extremely easy to remove the side panels due to the thumbscrews. (one or two of the holes in the panel don't really line up - so the thumbscrews are fidgety to get in correctly) The side-panel window is made of plastic, that scratches quite easily but actually upholds surprisingly well and the scratches are only viewable in certain lighting conditions. The back-panel is extremely (I mean extremely) tight for space, you will not get many cable routed through the back and still be able to put the panel on again. This doesn't mean it is impossible, with a good bit of effort you WILL get all your cables to fit.
As a case, this is a great starter for someone building a PC on a budget and aren't a fan of those (in my opinion, terrible looking) 'budget gamer cases' so certainly buy it if you are in the aforesaid group of people. If you are building a high end machine, don't cheap out on this. Buy a case that is worthy of your parts. (See: www.amazon.co.uk/NZXT-S340-White-Tower-Case/dp/B00NGMIBXC) Hope this helps!
