Simply one of the best books I've read the passion shown for the subject shines through. A great insight into the the skill and art of wood carving from this most enigmatic author. I've read it several times and really want to give it a go.
Terry is a star if this art.

Nice to read about an artist fulfilling a life's ambition and being successful but much as I love birds, I found it a bit specialised in places. That said if you want to pick up some tools and start wood carving yourself, it's an excellent book.
