HASH(0x96e636a8) out of 5 stars A Terrifying Look At The Future 27 Feb. 2012
By Susan Tuttle - Published on Amazon.com

Every advance in technology puts the entire world at risk and makes humanity ever more vulnerable, as this novel so brilliantly shows. In Biohacker we have an eminently plausible scenario, fueled by a madman who believes he has righteousness on his side. Step-by-terrifying-step, Carpenter takes us down the road toward the possible total annihilation of human life as we know it, reluctant heroes racing to stop the meticulous plan of a man whose obsession spells destruction not only for the world, but also for the woman he professes to love - a woman he has never met. In this novel, Carpenter has taken the worst of our technology and wedded it to our dependence on technology in order to show the very real dangers we may soon face for real. A dark, troubling and delicious read!
