The Binding of Isaac is a somewhat, top-down shooter (or for those that know, also called as "Rogue") which you move around with the d-pad/analogue stick and to shoot up/down/left/right you also need to precisely press each button or else you'll end up shooting the wrong direction. This is something that I'm still getting used to since it doesn't feel too natural for me.
TBoI's story basically revolves around defeating the enemies of his mother, brothers and sisters so it's nothing really too deep. Beat the big bad boss, essentially.
But aside that, the most interesting thing about this release is the cover and its content. The European version features stickers and a manual just like the American version and the reversible cover tells a story. Funny thing happened, when I opened my copy the insides were on the wrong side so I had to carefully readjust the cover.
