A captivating read, believable characters that you instantly warm to and some seriously sexy bedroom (or other room) scenes. A winning combination. (Book Love Bug Blog)

I really enjoyed reading Bind, it had everything I wanted in an erotic fiction novel and has left me eager to continue on with this trilogy (...) I'd give Bind five out of five! (That Thing She Reads Blog)

I downloaded this book to actually find out why it was a best selling book. I have to say I enjoyed the story for the most part. The sex scenes were very well done and I did not feel like I was reading an erotica story. It was more of a power battle, and I did enjoy the pushing of boundaries, even though it was strictly not allowed. I thought it was a bit too long and got a little bored, two thirds the way through, but battled to the end. All in all a good story and well written.

Lara Bertrand is the CFO for her family’s company and lest you think it’s a position granted by nepotism perish the thought. Lara has earned her way up in the business world. She’s finance savvy and knows what she’s doing. She also knows exactly what she doesn’t want… CEO is NOT on her to do list. So, when she watches her father repeatedly throwing good sense out the window, she’s left with some drastic measures to reign in his mad dash to financial ruin… Measures that include a marriage of convenience proposal to the only person she figures can help her pull things out of the spiraling decline they are on. Color her shocked, though, when her proposal is met with a counter. Her marriage of convenience isn’t going to be all too convenient because Mr. Connor Donovan wants a submissive, a wife in his bed and fidelity… not for her initial proposal of a year, but for a full three years. To sweeten the pot he’s offered her a taste of what being with him entails.

Connor has had his eye on BHI for a while and the lovely Ms. Bertrand most recently. He wants their patents and their communication division but when he goes in above board, Petrell Bertrand turns him down flat without even looking at the offer. Now, he could sit around and pick up the pieces of the company as it crumbles or he could take Lara up on her proposal. He’d much rather have his collar and his ring on this enticing woman than take an unsure bet on what would be left of the company. But appearances are everything in the business world so there is no way he’s going to accept an in name only proposal. She’ll be living with him and gracing his bed. Her on her knees at his beck and call are the icing on the cake.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads

I am a big fan of Ms Cartwright's writing, so was delighted to see a new series from her. And this is a great start to it, that's for sure.

The premise is inspired, the outcome is perfect and the execution is both incredibly hot and cleverly plotted. We are introduced to two families' worth of characters, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Connor and Lara in future episodes. I loved the interplay between them, the resolution of the contract, and the intensity which developed. I think the family dynamics were handled brilliatnly, and I missed a night's sleep because I could not stop reading.

If you like your Doms intense, and your submissives intelligent, then this will work for you. It is much more than that though, with a good business based issue to resolve and feelings to be considered. And even rescue dogs play a role too!

I cannot compare this to Fifty Shades as I must be one of the only women in the country not to have read it, but the cover states that it is even racier than Fifty Shades. I cannot argue that it is racy; it will certainly get your pulse racing.

The story itself is actually a great story. Set in the business world, the plot is intruiging and I was genuinely interested in the characters and where they ended up. Those characters and the relationship they have, the chemistry between them, is absolutely captivating. The actual relationship and feelings that are on show in this book are the sort of thing that many people will think only exists in dreams or fairytales, but find the right man and you realise that this kind of thing actually exists in real life. Whether you're in that place or single and think you might be looking for that place, it will be equally enjoyable to delve into the lives of Lara and Connor and watch as their relationship becomes something which neither of them expected. A classic "when you least expect it" story.

I also liked the family dynamics that you see throughout this book. The whole premise is based on relationships and it works incredibly well.

A captivating read, believable characters that you instantly warm to and some seriously sexy bedroom (or other room) scenes. A winning combination.

I had not read anything by Sierra Cartwright before but I definitely would again. This book is the first in a series following the Donovan brothers, however, I'm certain they will work as standalone books.

I've read several books by Sierra Cartwright and I've really enjoyed them all - Bind was just as good as the previous books I read, and I'd go as far as saying that it was the best of the bunch. Bind is a real page turner, I whizzed through it because I found myself very reluctant to put it down! The storyline is intriguing, and I thought it was paced perfectly. Ms Cartwright builds brilliant characters, her Doms especially are always sinfully sexy and easy to fall in love with. The supporting characters in this book are also great, and I'm looking forward to reading some of their stories in future books in this series.

Lara goes to desperate measures to help save her family's business, and makes an outrageous proposal to businessman Connor Donovon - one he can't say no to. But Connor wants something in return for his help - Lara's submission. Lara has always wanted 'more' in the bedroom and soon finds that Connor can give her pleasure beyond her wildest dreams. Their chemistry is sizzling, but can Lara go through with their plans and fully submit to Connor?

The BDSM elements of the story are very well done, this author is very good at balancing realistic, believable D/s dynamics with seriously hot scenes, and shows brilliantly how strong submissives are. I really enjoyed this book, the romantic and family storylines were strong and easily held my attention. This is another winner from Sierra Cartwright - five stars!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
