The Billion BiPAC 7800VDOX is the latest business-grade addition to the best-selling Billion 7800N router range, a future-proof fibre ready Triple-WAN Dual-Band wireless modem router ideal for small businesses and SOHO/home users. The 7800VDOX is an all-in-one advanced device with 16 IPSec VPN tunnels, integrated VoIP functionality with 2 x FXS ports and 1 x FXO port, concurrent dual-band Wireless-N (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Gigabit WAN and LAN, 3G/4G LTE support, multi WAN failover, and NAS (Network Attached Storage) in one unit. The 7800VDOX supports current “superfast” fibre connections (FTTC), such as BT Infinity, upcoming “ultrafast” fibre connections (FTTP/FTTH/FTTB), and current cable and ADSL2+ standards with a WAN throughput in excess of 600 Mbps (EWAN). The rock solid top-of-the range Broadcom chipset comes with SNR adjustment for tweaking ADSL lines for optimum performance, in most cases increasing stability and speed, especially important on long lines. In addition the USB port will support 3G/4G LTE connectivity via selected USB modems, with the router supporting failover functionality between WANs for maximum business uptime. The 7800VDOX supports comprehensive and robust IPSec VPN (Virtual Private Network) protocols for business users to establish private encrypted tunnels over the public Internet to secure data transmission between headquarters and branch offices. With a built-in DES/3DES VPN accelerator, the router enhances IPSec VPN performance significantly with high throughput and support for up to 16 VPN tunnels. The integrated VoIP feature makes making a VoIP call extremely simple; you just need to connect your existing telephones to one or both phone ports. The 7800VDOX complies with the most popularly adopted VoIP industrial standard, SIP protocol, ensuring interoperability with other SIP devices and major VoIP gateways. One RJ-11 FXO port is integrated to transmit inbound and outbound calls via PSTN fixed-line, so that users may still be able to make and receive phone calls via PSTN, while enjoying VoIP services at the same time. In addition, outgoing calls will be automatically redirected to PSTN when the Internet or VoIP service is not available. The router will also support a wide range of telephony features, such as call waiting, silence suppression, line echo cancellation, three-way conference, caller ID, and answering machine function, etc With Dual-Band wireless technology, the 7800VDOX allows for multiple-demand applications simultaneously. Running both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands at the same time, the router offers ultra-fast wireless speeds of up to 600Mbps, with external WiFi antennas for greater coverage, and multiple SSIDs on both bands. Added Time Scheduling functionality on separate SSIDs in order to manage internet access for guests is available on both bands, with isolation to prevent guests accessing the local LAN, and Wireless Protected Access (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK) and Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) features enhance the level of transmission security and access control over the wireless LAN. As well as support for selected 3G/4G LTE USB dongles, the USB port allows the device to act as a print server as well as a NAS (Network Attached Storage) device with DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) and FTP (File Transfer Protocol) access. The 7800VDOX is IPv6 ready out-of-the-box, comes with a 3 year warranty and Billion’s renowned UK based telephone and email support is just a call or click away.

Top customer reviews
It has it all; from simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi(2.4-GHz band for distance, and 5-GHz band for speed), and a built-in ADSL2+ Fibre modem; to extensive VoIP, and VPN support. It is designed with heavy VoIP usage in mind and you can plug in up to two regular phones. It also supports DLNA and it has a USB port that can be used to plug in a hard drive and share media.
Setting up this unit requires that you log-in to the Web interface (using 192.168.1.254). Because there are so many features crammed in to this unit, it can be intimidating to have to go through all of its configuration pages, especially if you aren't well versed in networking.
Like its predecessor (Billion BiPAC 7800N Dual WAN ADSL2+/Broadband Wireless-N Gigabit Firewall Modem Router) it is an incredibly stable router. The internet and WiFi connection stay up for months at a time, which considering other routers have to be rebooted daily, is a godsend.
It's fast, very reliable, offers lot of customization capabilities.
I will definitely stick to this brand (Billion) when time for substitute this will come.
