This book is such fun! With this book you can, indeed, create your own felt universe populated with all manner of funny felted treasures! As with all books from Lark the projects are extremely well illustrated and the written instructions are very clear. The book is broken down into sections. Cake, Camping, Plants, Holidays, Veggies, Office, Tools ... and more. All available to make your virtual felted world seem like the real thing. This book is unique, fanciful , creative and just plain fun. The details are quite spectacular and I can't imagine anyone not having fun just looking at this book - making the projects is the icing on the cake - and there's a recipe for icing in the book!

This book will, of course, appeal to felters but I think that it will also appeal to a wide range of crafters, and sewers. If I was a Mom I would have a great time making these little treasure for my children... providing them with their very own camp fire without the burn or scissors with the potential for cuts! This book is well done and thoroughly enjoyable !

This book is great!
I bought it just because I liked the cover and I haven't been disappointed by the contents.
The book is divided into set pieces like a tool kit, doctor's set, fruit and veg, gingerbread house....all sorts.
Nearly all the patterns are full size and the instructions are very clear. Photos and instructions are numbered so you can follow them at a glance.
It's a much better layout than other felt books I've bought and everything I've made has looked just like the photos, which is a testament to the book more than my skills! I'm a fan!

I've been considering buying this book for ages but the lack of preview pages put me off, I decided to chance it and am very happy with it!
The book has one feature that I believe sets it apart from from the many other craft books out there - the patterns are sized at 100%, this may not seem like a big deal but I have a decent stash of craft/felty books and am always frustrated to find that they contain patterns that need enlarging.
I'd definitely recommend this book, it has a good selection of projects ranging from banana split sundaes to a handbag complete with lipstick and mobile.

This book is filled with 70 great felt projects with easy instructions and nearly all full size templates.
the sections include:
. Cake
. Camping
. Sundae
. Office
. Plants
. Holiday
. Veggies
. Doctor
. Grill
. Purse
. Fruits
. Tools
All projects are 3d, and are suitable to be used as gifts and child play sets when completed.
As a 25 year old who enjoys various projects this book is lovely as it offers such a variety of ideas with wiggle room to adapt them later to make whole new designs, I've brought a few felt books lately and have to say this is the best I have found so if your looking to indulge a hobby or make a gift (the plant section has some lovely plants, so if you know people who lack the greenthumb talent one of these would be a great gift!)this is the one for you.

downside: some projects need plastic sheeting, cardboard, and craft metal sheets for shape retention, other than that only problem is what to make first....

This is amazing craft book. I love it because of the different type of units such as fruits, vegetables, tools (for boys), office (eg. laptop), fast foods (hamburger), doctor's tools and many more. It give us a short advice about how to start it, and it easy to follow up the steps in the units. (with lots of pictures) And you can use the samples about the units. I already started make some units, from the book, I really enjoy to do, and my daughter loves so much. The foods look like the real foods:D

This is a fab book to inspire your felty journey.
The number of pieces in each chapter is great.
I especially liked the fruit you can use the felt knife to 'cut' in half.
The templates are good and the step by step photos are clear.
All round a fun book.

Great book! So many different projects and all the templates are at 100% so no resizing needed. The instructions look easy to follow if you are new to the felt craft, as have step by step photos along with the instructions. I'm going to have loads of fun making lots of play sets for my little nephew.

These are gorgeous, and the directions are great... but I was expecting something a bit broader in scope, with options.

Lots of beautiful felt food -- but my 8 year old is way past playing with felt food. Lots of really adorable felt projects -- the lantern, the BBQ, the smores -- but cute as they are, they are pretty much directed at a very young crowd.

It all looks so beautiful, and yet who to make it for? Even the little computer -- well, there are loads of kids out there playing on real computers at 3 & 4, so why spend hours & hours sewing a beautiful felt one for them?

I loved looking at all of the projects, but found it difficult to imagine who I would make the majority of the projects for, who would appreciate & use what would be, after the time invested, treasures?
