Product Description

Should be in every teacher's library, on hand should an opportunity for five minutes of off-message, anarchic laughter present itself. -- TES Primary, October 2001

About the Author

Colin West studied at the Royal College of Art where he was taught by Quentin Blake. He has seven books published by Hutchinson and draws his inspiration from early cautionary verses that 'make Hilaire Belloc's later tales read like nursery rhymes!'

i bought this book for my son when he was six. when he and a cousin began discussing it on facebook, i decided to buy it for their children. a great book to read to children, for children to read to you, (a favorite thing at our house) or for children to read to themselves.
