From the Author

7 Years of Radio, Illustrated by 67 Great Artists
The Big Book of Death is based on seven years' worth of "News of the Dead" features from my New York City-area radio show on WFMU-FM. Topics include methods of death, methods of dealing with dead bodies, tours of famous cemeteries around the world, weird deaths, near-death experiences, and more, all told in a destinctive, cynical voice and illustrated by 67 of the greatest comics artists in the world. I spent two years researching and writing this "comic book;" there's a massive bibliography for people who want to learn more. In his introduction, Luc Sante says: "What Elisabeth Kuber-Ross is to denial and acceptance, Bronwyn is to the informed chuckle, the clear-eyed stare, the knowing chill." I think that's pretty cool. I hope you'll read and enjoy The Big Book of Death.
