Top Customer Reviews
Chapters on welcoming garden guests (hedgehogs etc), growing your own (as easy or as complicated as you wish with a difficulty rating), pest control, flower arrangements and the most delicious recipes.
Just planted my peas and beans and thought I had better have a check with Tessa Evelegh to see if |I had done the right thing! Have learnt that squash provide an alternative mulch keeping the plants moist and a reminder to protect my peas from the birds and insects with a fine mesh.
The Patch is a fun, practical book with very little on straight carrots and beans!
However there is plenty of info on organic gardening, fertilisers and pest and disease control without being overwhelming.
