Sylvester McCoy was the seventh actor to portray the title character of 'Doctor Who', the longest-running science fiction series in the world. In January 1996 he returned to hand over the role to Paul McGann in a special TV movie. This film is Sylvester's own video diary of the shoot, featuring his reminiscences about working on the show, plus interviews with his co-stars on the film.

Sylv takes us on a journey to Vancouver in early 1996 where he will hand over the keys to the TARDIS to his friend and successor Paul McGann, and on the way takes in some of the sights of Canada, says hello to former Doctor Who companion Anneke Wills, shares a glass of wine with the afrementioned Mr McGann, makes Daphne Ashbrook laugh, and generally makes merry around the set.
Sylv also give an insight to his own time with Doctor Who between 1987 and 1989, and why, in his own inimitable syle and opinion, the original series was cancelled.
Essential viewing for any Seventh Doctor fan.
Doctor Who: Revisitations Box Set - Volume 1 (The Caves Of Androzani / The Talons Of Weng-Chiang / Doctor Who - The Movie) [DVD]
This is superb for any older fans of the show and a great introduction to the series highs and lows for anyone who wonders just what all of the fuss was about.
