I decided to test these panels a bit further to see what was going on. Removed from van and found that one of the panels produced a voltage when bent in on its self. Tested voltage between all the bus's and found that only one row of cells was fully functional, this means there are multiple points where the connections were broken between the cells. Additional damage may have been caused whilst removing from roof but they were not excessively bent at this time either.
I found that the top surface had became brittle and discoloured. My panels overlapped slightly at the edges and the surface which was not exposed to sunlight was still clear, the exposed areas over the cells and rest of the panels had slight yellowing and definite embrittlement.
I would clearly not recommend this product as I believe it is of inferior build quality.
