This is Cade and Dawn's story. This is a great book. I read this first because I didn't realise this was the second book, you should read the first book before this one.
Dawn has twin girls and she is divorced from 'Mad Dog' Jimmy, who is not only in an MC but he is the rival MC to the Sinners. It has been three years since Dawn has been married to Jimmy and because she left him, Jimmy got revenge by getting her kids taken away from her.
Cade is determined to show Dawn that he is not like Jimmy and that the MC don't treat their woman the way Jimmy's MC treated her.
This is a fantastic book, the drama, the action and there is a bit of a love triangle which is great.
I love this book and before I read any other books in this series I will read the first book second.

Loved it, even better than the first, I thought jagger was too alpha, I like my alpha men in stories, but he was way over the top. Cade was all alpha, but we saw his softer side too, which I thinks makes a great romance. Only complaint with this author is I think both her books have needed very abruptly, would have liked maybe a little epilogue.

I had trouble putting this book down, was gripped from word one, im also glad we still get to read about the other charactures involved. they all bring the story together in their own way, and as with rough justice it has depth and keeps you wanting more.

This is a brilliant follow up to Rough Justice in the Sinner's Tribe Motorcycle Club series. Sarah Castille outdid herself with this book, it was even better than the first.
This is Cade and Dawn's story, Dawn was Arianne's friend in Rough Justice, and colleague at Bank's Bar.
Dawn, having been the route of 'Old Lady' in the past, struggles with her feelings for Cade. She was once married to Mad Dog, the Vice President of the Devil's Brethren MC, one of the Sinner's Tribe's rivals. She was mistreated and physically abused by her husband, and when he turned his vicious ways on their twin daughters she packed up and left him. Only now, years later, he is still controlling her life and causing her misery by keeping her children from her.
Cade is the ultimate ladies man, well-known within his MC for having a way with women and never hitting up the same one twice. Until he met Dawn, a woman he went back to for seconds and then she called it off. Almost a year passes and he still can't get her out of his mind.
There are moments in this book where these two need their heads banging together. With Dawn and her fear of falling back into the MC lifestyle and her reluctance to fully trust a biker, and Cade's struggle to come to terms with becoming a one-woman man and giving up his manwh*re title, you can see why there were moments when I wanted to slap some sense into them both.
With this book Sarah Castille has placed herself up there with the best of MC writers. In style and quality they are similar to Joanna Wylde's Reapers series in my opinion, the violent and gritty lifestyle of the MC world is portrayed well.

Gifted from Netgalley for an honest review – 3 ½ - 4 stars
I’ve been on a bit of an MC kick this past week, I don’t normally read so many but I had a hankering for the edginess that an MC book brings. This is my first Sarah Castille book, and I probably should have read the first even though these are standalones. They are interconnected and I felt I would have had a better understanding of other characters had I read it. Didn’t spoil my enjoyment in any way and I’ll be going back to read the first for sure.
I liked this; it’s not the best MC book I’ve read but most certainly not the worst. I had a little bit of disappointment in the way it was narrated at times though. It felt like some scenes were missing in retrospect, even though the scenes are there they come after the fact. I never like reading that way. I found one or two inconsistencies but nothing too troublesome. Sarah’s writing was good enough to hold my attention and whilst the plot is quite elaborate it seemed to work for the best part. At times it was a frustrating read, with all that was allowed to slide in the name of biker protocol but justice gets there eventually.
Character development was there but I found it a little difficult to connect properly with both Cade and Dawn and I can’t really explain why. I like that Sarah came at this biker book from a different angle, she created quite a strong character in Dawn, I enjoyed seeing a woman who wasn’t lying down for anything despite her circumstances. I found the Jimmy storyline somewhat lacking. Yes, he’s a violent man but barr one scene with Dawn you don’t really get the full extent of that violence towards her. Whilst I know he’s a “bad man” I guess I needed more in terms of gritty description when it came to Jimmy.

3.75 stars----BEYOND THE CUT is the second installment in Sarah Castille’s adult, contemporary Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Sinner’s Tribe MC. This is outlaw biker (and second in command) Cade O’Connor, and waitress Dawn Delgado’s storyline. BEYOND THE CUT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous storyline is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Cade and Dawn), BEYOND THE CUT follows the second chance romance between Cade and former ‘old lady’ to Jimmy ‘Mad Dog’ Sanchez- Dawn Delgado. Mad Dog is looking to take control of the Brethren-a rival MC club- and will do everything he can to make it happen, including destroying what’s left of Dawn’s heart and soul. As a young woman, Dawn was homeless and looking for someone to protect her from the world and all of its’ evil-enter sadistic outlaw biker Mad Dog Sanchez-the man who would take Dawn’s humanity and the children she so dearly loved. As the storyline develops we discover that one year earlier, Dawn and Cade spent two wild nights together but Dawn refused to get involved with another biker or MC club. What ensues is a rekindling of Dawn and Cade’s relationship, and the steps Mad Dog goes to steal back the woman he despises and hates.

The relationship between Cade and Dawn is one of second chances. Cade is an alpha male; an outlaw biker whose first allegiance is to the Sinner’s Tribe MC but discovering Dawn was still in town brought back the memories and questions about their short time together. As Cade continues to pursue Dawn, Dawn’s life and those of her children are threatened by Mad Dog and the people hoping to take down the Sinner’s Tribe MC Club.
