Bex Archer spent years drawing archaeological finds and illustrating children's books and magazines before turning to writing. Inspired by a niece with a love of vampires and all things spooky she wrote 'Four Dragon's Daughters'. Having been bitten by the writing bug she went on to finish the series drawing up on bits of history, Anglo-Saxon, Celtic and prehistoric, that had worked their way into her memory. Her first book for adults 'The Ink Ghosts' followed, inspired by the saltmarshes on the Norfolk coast near her home. An enthusiastic photographer with a love of brilliant colour when she isn't writing she's pottering around East Anglia snapping the scenery.
