I loved this book, because it was romantic and funny and the kind of book you always wish was real. It made me laugh out loud and want to cry. Once I'd read it I lent it to my friend and she said it was excellent too. Neither of us could put it down. Should you read it? In one word, yes!

Really enjoyed reading this book. Just could not put it down. Read the whole book in a couple of days. Loved the story and the way it's written. Can't wait to read more if her books.

If you happened across this book then it was because you were looking for this type of book and sometimes a fairly short, predictable romance with some drunken goings on and a satisfying happily ever after is exactly what the doctor ordered. There are hiccups and misunderstandings but what self respecting romance doesn't. Megan doesn't come across as anything other than a friend you'd want for yourself and Ben, although maybe not as manly as some book boyfriends out there is definitely swoonworthy. I'd recommend this one to anyone who loves a fun in the sun, alcohol induced lovefest.

This was a fun, cute, book that would be perfect for your next Summer read. I love the whole 'friends turning into more' storyline.

Megan, unfortunately was a little hard for me to love. She did seem to be a bit on the whinny side and I always have a difficult time falling in love with a character that acts like that. She also took quite a bit of abuse from her friends, but we will get to them in more detail in a little bit, because they deserve their own section. Megan also had a way of keeping a lot of her feelings and emotions bottled inside. I just wanted to shake her and tell her to open up and speak her mind.

"I love how his tight whit V-neck t-shirt clings to his muscular chest and how his five o'clock shadow is growing in perfectly on his tanned skin. "

Ben however, was not hard to love at all because he was so very sweet. It is obvious from the start that Ben feels more for Megan than what she believes he does. I never doubted his feelings for her, and watching their relationship slowly turn into something more was very nice. Yes, he has had a wild past, one that Megan takes a bit to get over, but his affection for her is clear.

And the steam factor? These two are hot together, there is no mistaking that. Like jump in the back of the car, strip off your clothes, I want you right now, kinda hot.

"Ben leans over and whispers in my ear, "I missed you."

I bite my lip and whisper that I missed him too. He leans back in his chair all calm and collected, while I break out in a sweat, just hearing him say those three little words."

Now the bad, and I mean the very bad... Megan's friends. There is not one single redeeming quality from any of them, and I'm not quite sure why anybody would put up these women.

Another book that has been hanging around for a while. The cover kind of put me off a bit, I was not up for a "Thelma and Louise" (male/female) style storyline - which the cover reminds me of!

The story pretty much starts off on a pace from the get-go. Ben and Megan are lifelong best friends, but deep down he harbours feelings for her and she can't see it. So he takes control of the situation and sends her into a spin on the eve of their trip to see their other best friends get married.

The concept of the storyline was good and generally I really enjoyed it. I liked the development of the romantic feelings that Megan started having for Ben, which took her by surprise. Then throw in a love rival, on both sides, to mix things up a bit!! I liked the friendly banter between the group of 4 boys and 4 girls, it was fun and refreshing, and I had plenty of laughs as well as those "aaahhh" moments!

It's an easy read, covered it in 24 hours. It's not taxing and it's fun - what's not to like?!

The ONLY thing I didn't like was the way that every now and then there would be memory "flashbacks" which kind of went off on a tangent a little bit and I ended up wondering where the thread of the story was going and had to memory flashback myself to the original thread, in the present day. That's all - little niggle annoyed me though!

"He was touching me there" really, I mean really!!! How old are we 12?? The female lead is pathetic, the story could be written by any school girl, don't waste your money

Total trash, really badly written and a terrible story line. Can't believe I wasted money buying it and time reading it.
