My passion for travelling and my desire to inspire others has been the inspiration for my writing. Drawing from my unusual life experiences, due to my sense of adventure, I have had many a quirky encounter with an assortment of creatures big and small. From hugging a gorilla in Rwanda to a chance meet with a small Spanish snail called Ernie found lurking in the vegetable box in my fridge whilst living in Spain. Through this I have gathered together a vault of material and ideas to continuing writing many more stories for a young and imaginative audience.
In-between writing stories I teach Zumba in my local community and attend a vibrant Hillsong Church London. I am hoping soon to re-visit Sri Lanka where I set up a social enterprise business in 2009 called Bags of Colour, with the aim of building upon what I started and offering work to local women. However my biggest dream, and one that I intend to take steps towards in the near future, is to set up an orphanage for Children in Africa.
