Top customer reviews
that the name of the cartoonist, and the date of publication is printed unobtrusively at the side
of each cartoon. In addition there's an index at the end, listing each cartoonist and on which
pages their work appears. These are invaluable feature enabling readers to identify which
cartoonists particularly appeal, and to follow up on their other cartoons. A feature notably absent
from previous Punch collections, where it was necessary to try and decipher any signature
if present. Second there are potted biographies of 21 of the most notable cartoonists to have
appeared in Punch, everyone from John Leech and Phil May, to Michael Heath and Tony Husband.
Third the book is printed on gloss coated paper and is very well produced.
The book was disppointing and not what I thought it would be.
