Awesome band and awesome music! It gets 4 stars because there's nothing previously unreleased! Because I am a close follower, I don't need this playlist... Where to start? Is this even a good playlist? Not one bad song here that's for sure, maybe the balance is a bit off, I am able to recognise 5 of these tracks as "heavy Nickelback". These being; "Burn it to the ground", "Figured you Out", "Never Again", "Animals" and "Something in Your Mouth". Also I must say, why are there 6 All the Right Reasons songs on here and only 2 Here and Now songs (of which neither are heavy!)? Surely they have something further planned? A Vol. 2 perhaps, a playlist where we will see something new, a playlist which includes more heavier material, songs like "Side of a Bullet", "Because of You", "Woke Up this Morning" and "This Means War", maybe there will be some live recordings in a possible further release? Who knows? This playlist I feel isn't enough, it doesn't give the full picture!!

A best of this much called band, some people give um stick for playing safe rock the type non rock fans can buy and the type of rock that gets played on BBC Radio 2, BUT sometimes you want while driving the car or doing jobs around the house some easy listening music on and Nickleback play that music. Its similar to Bon Jovi,Journey Etc its what it is.This is there best album as all the songs you hear and know are here. And i this mouth will buy the latest Iron Maiden,Motorhead, and slayer albums And i,m a big NWOBHM fan so i like it hard and heavy then some in case you think i am another non rock fan.

I already had "All the Right Reasons" which I liked, but was missing some great tracks such as "How You Remind Me", and my personal favourite "When We Stand Together". On the whole it's less 'heavy' than Reasons... with more rock ballads, but i find it gets played more because of this, as it's easier on the ears of my family! Love the album and can't stop playing it.

A great album , not normally my first choice , however this was a present for my wife and after seeing them in Melbourne last year I have warmed to Chad and the boys. This is a great Best of Album with every recognised track they have produced . A must have for Nickelback Fans world wide .

The Best of Nickelback Volume 1 features a strong range of this band's rock hits across the span of their career. There are a range of popular and fantastic songs on this compilation such as "Photograph", "Rockstar", "Savin Me", "If Today Was Your Last Day", "Far Away", "Lullaby","If Everyone Cared", and "This Afternoon." My first Nickelback collection was "All The Right Reasons" and was purchased by my husband as a birthday gift for me around what I believe was Autumn 2007. However, many newcomers to the music of Nickelback would also like many of the songs on this collection.

Although the rest of the tracks are certainly worth a listen, this cd is worth buying for Rockstar alone. With top-class witty lyrics that will have you singing it all day and laugh-out-loud humour this is a must-have for all music-lovers.

I bought this as I was going to their concert in Liverpool, although it arrived late I was not disappointed as I knew the songs off by heart, but now I can relive the concert every time I play it at full volume

Love this album has all the greatest hits so will get their main albums too at some point soon. Particular favourites are burn it to the ground, lullaby, gotta be somebody and also never again. A great mix of rock and rock ballads.
