Having read all of Stylo Fantome's other books I was sure this one would be just as good. And it sure is!
Great characters who interacted brilliantly and made me smile throughout. Fast moving, tons of action and a great plot. Loved that Lily gave as good as she got, had her own strengths and a strong character. Can't wait for the next book.

Stylo Fantôme has done it again - written a book that is hugely enjoyable and gripping to read. The plot line of this book is very different from her Jameson and Tate Saga - being completely action packed with Marc and Lily running for their lives from numerous groups of assassins and terrorists and is set over a very short period of time - which just adds to the frenzied pace of the whole book - from the external situation they find themselves in to the internal parameters of their progressing relationship. However the two main characters of Marc and Lily are just as engaging and delightful as Jameson and Tate and just like The Kane Trilogy even has it's own great third complicated character in the form of Kingsley. It would make a great action thriller with all of the action and double crossing that goes on and the banter and sexual tension between Marc and Lily is also gripping - and the wonderful dialogue between them is often laugh out loud funny but also has moments of real poignancy due to the external situation they are both in. I loved The Kane Trilogy - I loved Time in the Affair and I loved this book and really look forward to the next stage of their story. Stylo Fantome has proved herself to be a very talented, versatile writer, and i look forward to enjoying many more of her stories in the future. I read at the end of this book, that Stylo almost shelved this story as she had reached a block - but then received encouragement and direction to keep going with it, I'm so glad she did and that I got to read Lily and Marc's story. Wonderful

I've just finished this and I don't really know where to start...a complete departure from what I normally read. I mean yes smoking hot sex, Oh My God Alpha and fearless feisty female that I really wish I had an ounce of her strength and sass but thriller? Not usually my thing, but this was off the charts sexy, smart and edge of the seat type thriller so may be it is my thing...now. Is there a genre Erotic Thriller?? Ms Fantome if there isn't you should start one..Can't wait for December.
This book was give for an honest review

Once again Stylo Fantome has amazed me with her talent in delivering such a fabulous book. This was exactly my type. I enjoyed every page of it!

The storyline is about Lilly, a transporter within the Russian mob, who is determined to smuggle some stolen diamonds to Russia by traveling through the darkest parts of Africa. Meanwhile, our other MC; Marc the mercenary, is the one stealing said diamonds, and he wants to go on a vacation soon after the mission is done. But things never go according to plan, no matter how well thought out they were….

There’s a lot of moving from place to place in this book. It keeps you on edge and there’s never a boring moment whatsoever. The different cities we get to travel in Lilly and Marcs journey keeps the action always running! And trust me, there’s always something going on, always something in the side lines waiting to ruin their plans yet again.

I loved the characters in this story. Lilly who is an ambitious, determined individual. A woman who does not get dominated by a man populated business. She always comes across as strong and smart and never backs down from the toughest situations. It’s honestly hard not to like her strength. Marc is a man with his own rules, his own way of living. He’s all intense and alpha male which makes it difficult not to love him!
Their chemistry is off the charts. It’s more about the constant banter and ‘I cannot stand you attitude’ than the steamy scenes. Although the steamy scenes are very well done as well. But it’s really entertaining watching the two argue over everything. They’re both one of those people who don’t really take orders from another individual so this journey was definitely a difficult one for both. But something which I really enjoyed being a part of.

Living in the frozen depths of Alaska is a still (God knows how) relatively unknown gem who goes by the name Stylo Fantome. As we now hit her sixth published book it is becoming more than clear that she is a talent who is here to stay, her flair and imagination, the complexity and emotional depth of her characters and stories combined with her ability to surprise with choice of genre or subject matter and yet still deliver every single time make her a one click automatic choice with no cover, blurb or info needed - just the author name alone.

THE PLAN:
* Smuggle diamonds from Liberia to Morocco
* Make the trip in three days
* Don't get caught
* Don't kill each other
* Don't have sex with each other
* Don't fall for each other
* STICK TO THE PLAN
This is the story of what happens when an unlikely bond is formed between enemies, causing tensions to rise, and igniting a chemistry that threatens to burn them both. Together, they'll learn that sometimes even the best laid plans can fail.

Best Laid Plans is a rip roaring top fuel nitrous full on adrenaline ride from start to finish. It's unexpected in places, shocking in some, doesn't let go of you at any point, the pace fast, furious and hot as f**k. It's a fabulous mix of suspense and intrigue, romance and violence, raw, passionate, brutal and did I remember to say HOT AS F**K! Ms Fantome described it as 'Romancing the Stone meets Die Hard with more sex' and that’s pretty spot on!
Best Laid Plans surprised and shocked, made me gasp, laugh, smile, run for B.O.B and new batteries, had me nearly throwing my kindle in total disgust at the end while cursing Ms Fantome to the heavens and wondering what I have to promise to get my hands on book 2.

Abso- f^*^ing-lutely fabulous.
