In terms of the music itself - it is fantastic. The Chilis, rather than giving up after the departure of John, have embraced the opportunity to do something new and awesome with Josh Klinghoffer. This record is quite unlike anything the Chilis have done before, with an array of styles which really take the cake. I definitely recommend this record to any Chilis fan.

Now in terms of the vinyl - I bought this from my local record shop, and straight from the sleeve it skips annoyingly frequently in the same places throughout songs, occasionally skipping its way through an entire verse or chorus. I don't know whether this is down to a bad pressing or what, but it's not cool.

This is definitely worth a buy purely because of what it is, but if you're only looking for the music and not the cool record you're better off getting the digital download or all of the 7" singles.

The music is fine, I own this and all of the 7"s. But this pressing is awful, the vinyl itself is really light and doesn't sound that amazing. Go buy all the 7"s instead.

RHCP no such thing as a BSide. Love the album. Many great tracks really enjoyed listening to everything, and the fact it's only released on LP awesome. Being one of the few people in the world to listen to the songs is very cool.

Really expected these songs to be, throw- a- ways since they were released like this but I was very wrong!! Magpies On Fire and Brave From Afar... I can listen to over and over again. Most of the tracks are just as strong. If your a RHCP fan you know how catchy the music can be. My only issue with The Peppers is just one thing and give me a "like'' if you agree....Guys, why Didn't you release I'm With You as a double album like Stadium???!!!??

Highly underrated Chili Pepper's B-side album. It also had the problem of barely being marketed towards anyone other than major fans. Even so if you stumble across this I highly recommend it! It has some great little gems that are worth a listen such as: "Strange Man," "Long Progression," "Victorian Machinery," "This is the Kitt," and "How it Ends," to name a few of my favorites.

HASH(0x8a39b228) out of 5 stars THIS SHOULD BE OFFICALLY RELEASED 24 Jan. 2014

Dear RHCP & Warner Brothers,

This should had been the official RHCP album instead of the awful "I'm With You". You guys dropped the ball, songs like "Long Progression", "Never Is A Long Time", "Victorian Machinery" & "Strange Man" are radio hits that won't get any recognition because the band made a terrible decision to make these great songs as B-Sides while the worst songs came out. WB Executives you need to push this album to radio ASAP!!!
