As I had an upcoming holiday to Menorca, an island I had not visited before. I purchased this book which I found had all the essential history and resort information, a map which aided orientation of the island, helpful hints and restaurant, bar, hotel information. Although I took a guided couch tour of the island it was still a useful companion to have in my bag. I love the island and now planning to return next year but will go self catering and hire a car and this book will be invaluable.

We purchased this as a backup to the Thos. Cook guide. Very usefully it covers quite a few different aspects of the Island. This guide is more orientated towards the eating out, visiting towns and villages type of person. Much easier to fit in a small pocket and well up to Berlitz standard.

We mainly used this guide to help us find beaches off the beaten track. We had hired a car and wanted to explore the island. There are many beaches we would still like to go back and see. A worthwhile buy - a bit wordy in places like many guidebooks. But am sure we will use again when we go back in the future.

A little book with some interesting information which was read recently on holiday. I have to say Menorca is very beautiful. It was my first visit. I usually buy bigger books and maps but the island is apparently the smallest of this group and is certainly worth another visit without my young grandchildren A useful book!

Menorca is a relatively small island, so the small book matches that. We were only there for a week. As far as our explorations went it proved adequate. It is perhaps a little snobby, tending to describe the areas where tourist go in a slightly off-putting way. We went to Son Parc, which the book described as a bland urbanisation of apartments, which I guess was true, but it was good for families and where else is the tourist supposed to stay?

We love travelling and for one week stays the Berlitz guides cover
all you need to know.
They are informative and ideal to take with you as they are small
to carry and light.

This book isnt of much use, it is full of history on every page and does not include many of the things there are to do for children on menorca, the map is wrong in places with some access down roads not actually there. the resturant reviews are good at bothe times we ate at resturants in the book and they were better than other plaves.

This little guide is very comprehensive and extremely detailed. With an island map inside the folding cover, and maps of Mao and Ciutadella inside the back cover it is very well structured.
