HASH(0x8a71a168) out of 5 stars Teacher's Rating 31 May 2005
By Monnikue McCall - Published on
Format: Paperback
I have been teaching music for fifteen years and I have been using the Teacher's Guide for a year now. This book is great for teachers because it talks about all of the books. I gave my students each a different book according to their instrument. Like keyboard, guitar, drum set, bass, alto sax and baritone sax, vibraphone, tenor sax and soprano sax. The books are very clear and when I student has a question I don't have to walk over to his/her music stand. I can turn to the page in my own book. I plan on continuing to use these books because they have helped my class tremendously. I recommend the Teacher's Guide and all of the other books to teachers and/ or musicians who are trying to get their band established.
HASH(0x8a744144) out of 5 stars Kindle edition - doesn't have the music tracks!? 10 April 2011
By nzgonzo - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I bought the Kindle edition of this book for my ipad, so I would have the backing tracks and book on my ipad for ease of use in the classroom. However, as far as I can see, there are NO music tracks that come with the Kindle version. Yet the whole book is based upon the backing tracks! This kindle edition appears to now be useless and I can't return it.
