The story continues as Beric retires into the swamps with the men, women and children he has left, with the help of a traitor all are killed except Beric and a few men, Beric agrees that his people should surrender and with his men are taken to Rome and trained as Gladiators, can Beric escape and where would he go, you must read on to find out the ending to this very good story
I have read many factual and fictional books on the Roman era and "Beric the Briton" and this one makes for good reading.
