Don't be put off by the brand, this BenQ is a great monitor.
The buttons are on the lower edge on the right hand side which is a little awkward as the legends are moulded into the plastic and hard to see at times but no problem once you get used to them. The panel can be adjusted for tilt but not for height. On the back are connections for VGA and DVI, and the panel can be switched between inputs. The panel can be fitted to a wall mount and the panel is about 65mm at it's thickest. A VGA cable and kettle lead are supplied.
The unit I received was completely free of dead or stuck pixels. The panel itself gives a great picture, with even brightness and very good colour. Dark colours are very well resolved. The monitor has fast enough response time to suit gaming. I don't like a bright screen and have the brightness at 20 and contrast at 40. It's plenty bright like that and comfortable on the eyes. The overall viewing experience is very pleasant. For those considering a multiple monitor setup, the bezel is about 15mm, so adjacent monitors will have a pretty large gap between them.
It was a consideration for me if my graphics card could run 1080 resolution on games so I'll mention it here for those who may be thinking of the same. I'm using a 460GTX 768MB. Running at the native resolution of 1920x1080 and with V-Sync enabled I can play Battlefield Bad Company 2 on DX11 advanced settings with a good frame rate and superb image quality. As a note, the graphics memory usage maxed at 693MB (as reported by Afterburner), GPU usage averaged 55% and my CPU is 2.5GHz Intel dual core. So if your graphics card and CPU are equivalent or better you should be ok with most games.
