Can't get enough of Gildas books that have something for everyone. My favourites are the ones set back in time. It never fails to amaze me how people with so little had such grit. Can you imagine a world without Computers, play stations and mobile phones. They didn't have a lot back in my mum's time but she always looks back on them days as glorious.
Much like the characters in Gildas books. Unputdownable xxx

Very slow from start to finish. No real story just life in world war 2. Would not recommend. Very repetitive
