About the Author

Aleatha Romig is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, who has been voted #1 "New Author to Read" on Goodreads, July 2012 - Present! Aleatha has lived most of her life in Indiana, growing-up in Mishawaka, graduating from Indiana University, and currently living south of Indianapolis. Together with her high-school sweetheart and husband of twenty seven years, they've raised three children. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing. Now, when she’s not imagining mind-blowing twists and turns, she likes to spend her time with her family and friends. Her pastimes include exercising, reading, and creating heroes/ anti-heroes who haunt your dreams! Aleatha enjoys traveling, especially when there is a beach involved. In 2011 she had the opportunity to visit Sydney, Australia to visit her daughter studying at the University of Wollongong. Her dream is to travel to places in her novels and around the world. CONSEQUENCES, her first novel, was released August 2011 by Xlibris Publishing. Then in October of 2012, Ms. Romig re-released CONSEQUENCES as an indie author. TRUTH, the sequel, was released October 30, 2012, and CONVICTED, the third in the series, was released October 8, 2013. Unexpectedly, the fourth book of the Consequences series came to life with REVEALED: The Missing Years. It is the fourth full-length novel in the series. It explores the gap in time in Convicted that was previously only mentioned as well as a complete character glossary and timeline. REVEALED was released in June of 2014. Aleatha also wrote reading companions for the Consequences Series. BEHIND HIS EYES CONSEQUENCES (Book 1.5) and BEHIND HIS EYES TRUTH (Book 2.5) are currently available for those time and scenes when the readers asked, “What was he thinking?” These companions also contain never before behind the scenes scenes. Aleatha is a “Published Author’s Network” member of the Romance Writers of America and represented by Danielle Egan-Miller of Brown and Miller Literary Associates.

Most stories are written in one pov and I think you lose some of the depth that way. I love multiple pov books, however I love this way too. This storyline wouldn't have worked if we saw both pov in one book so I am very very happy that this book has been done. Answers so many unanswered questions and as always perfectly written.

This story has completely blown me away. It has wrung every emotion out of me.
I have never read a book where I have gone from detesting, hating, wishing death to the hero, then loving him, through Claire's eyes.
Now, from Tonys POV, I'm back to square one. I hate him again. The cold calculating, manipulating control freak, has me shouting at my kindle again.
This story is absolutely awesome. How a human being can treat another human like he did is beyond me. The story of how he tried to break her because of a vendetta is heartbreaking.
Aleatha Romig is a genius. This story deserves so many more stars. Bravo!

Tony Rawlings: love him or loathe him, there is no denying he is a man of his word. His meticulous planning and cunning ways will leave you disturbingly enthralled as you experience this story from a whole new angle. Are you ready to suffer the Consequences?

Ever wondered what was really happening inside that relentless, cold, calculating mind of Tony Rawlings? Well here is your chance as the man behind the curtain is about to unveil himself in all his infinite glory as he recounts, in his own words, pivotal scenes that took place in Consequences.

From the first meeting with Claire and her impending incarceration in Iowa, to the dreaded 'Accident' scene and beyond, Behind His Eyes takes you back to that place that had many of us clenching our e-readers in disbelief, in anger, in trepidation...and fear, as this passionate, all-consuming man stops at nothing to execute his master plans with methodical precision.

This takes you back to the time when Tony Rawlings was a monster. And yet...how is it I still hung on to every word? Every damning consequence played havoc with my emotions but I could still see that doubt, those moments of uncertainty in that impenetrable armour, shine.

As a character he has to be one of the most complex I have seen. His thought-process and justification for certain actions made me understand him a little more fully. For me, even though I still hated him in parts, it made me realise his hunger for power, for order, derived from insecurity. Failure was not an option!

Claire Nichols, our heroine, our victim, and the woman who turned the life of a ruthless businessman on its head... she certainly came across a little more meek and mild than I remember, which just goes to prove that she played her part very well!

After finishing the original trilogy I so loved Tony, but I hate him again now! It really messes with your head this book, even though I know I'm gonna end up loving him again, at the end of this book I would have gladly poisoned him! Love this series and can't wait to read Truth, when Tony totally does a 360 and I can love him again, please don't be too long coming out, don't like hating Tony!

Brilliant read and lets you see from Tony's perspective. If you have loved the story of Tony and Claire you should not miss this one. Although it is one which you will want to read even if you have mixed feelings, after finishing the 3rd book do you want to go back to the angst of the first...??? that is the question.

Love reading from Tony 's Pov to know what he was thinking and feeling in different chapters. This is a must read if you like Claire's books.

I was so looking forward to this book as I love the Consequences series and adore the male POV. I was intrigued to find out what went through his mind especially with the accident. I felt it slow to get going but once he started showing us his other side and how much he did eventually love Claire, I got into it. Pleased to read more about Catherine and see the hints about how horrible she really was. Like her subtle digs about Nathaniel especially when Tony told her he was going to propose and about the surveillance being turned off. Loved how he so poorly after being poisoned - felt it served him right for being so mean to Claire. Glad Brent didn't have that much control over Courtney and laughed at the end when Tony thought at least he would know where Claire was when in prison as we all know how that turned out !! Overall felt alittle disappointed so might jump next book and just read The Missing Years.

Under no circumstances read this book without having read Consequences, Truth and Convicted first. If you haven't read them then what on earth are you waiting for, go and buy them now!!

If you have read the books then you no doubt went through the same kind of emotions that I did where Tony is concerned, you probably went from hating him to guiltily loving him to just plain loving him!! It was for the reason that I had come to love him that I was really frightened at how I would feel about him when reading the story from his perspective.

This book is not a complete retelling of the story from Tony's POV, it contains scenes from Consequences that were pivotal to the story. Yes it contains the accident scene and what happened afterwards while Claire was unconscious. This was hard to read but yet gripped me at the same time. At the end of the book I was back with the same emotion that I had for him after reading Consequences, hate, although knowing what I know from having read the original trilogy there was a dash of pity thrown in.

Under normal circumstances this would not be a 5 star review, however as a companion novel to a fantastic book this just adds to the story in a great way. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series from his POV. It's going to be an interesting ride.
