Behind The Curtain: Volume 1

December 1968 saw a landmark court case in the appropriately named township of Credit River, Minnesota, USA. First National Bank of Montgomery vs. Daly was an epic courtroom drama and although unsurprisingly, not widely reported either at the time or subsequently, is actually extremely significant.

Jerome Daly a lawyer by profession, defended himself against the bank’s attempted foreclosure on his $14,000 mortgage on the grounds that there was no ‘consideration’ for the loan. ‘Consideration’ in legalese, refers to ‘the item exchanged’ and is an essential element of any legal contract. Daly contended that the bank offered ‘no consideration’ for his loan on the grounds that they had ‘created the money out of thin air’ by bookkeeping entry and had therefore not suffered a loss (another relevant point of law) by his refusal or inability to pay back the money.

The proceedings were recorded by Justice William Drexler, who had given no credence whatsoever to the defence, until Mr. Morgan, the bank’s president, took to the witness stand. To Drexler’s and indeed everyone else present’s great surprise, Morgan casually admitted under questioning from Daly’s lawyer, that the bank routinely ‘created money out of thin air’ for all its loans and mortgages and that this indeed was standard practice in all banks. Presiding Justice, Martin Mahoney declared that, “It sounds exactly like fraud to me,” accompanied by nods and murmurs of assent from all around the courtroom.

In his summation of the case, Justice Mahoney reported that… “Plaintiff (the bank) admitted that it, in combination with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, did create the entire $14,000.00 in money and credit upon its own books by bookkeeping entry. That this was the consideration used to support the Note dated May 8, 1964 and the Mortgage of the same date. The money and credit first came into existence when they created it. Morgan admitted that no United States Law or Statute existed which gave him the right to do this. A lawful ‘consideration’ must exist and be tendered to support the Note.”

So, the court duly rejected the bank’s claim for foreclosure and the defendant kept his house. The implications of this case therefore, should have been far-reaching. If bankers are indeed extending credit without consideration (which they most definitely are) i.e. without backing their loans with real money they actually have stored in their vaults and were entitled to lend, any judicial decision declaring their loans void, would topple the entire worldwide financial and banking system.

Since this precedent, many other defendants have attempted to have mortgages and loans nullified using the same defence as Daly, but there has been extremely limited success only. In fact, one judge said, strictly ‘off the record,’ “If I let you do that, you and everyone else, it would bring the whole banking system down. I cannot let you go behind the bar of the bank. . . . We are not going behind that curtain!

Well suffice to say, we certainly are going on a highly revealing trip ‘ behind the curtain!,’ so strap-in and be prepared for the ride of your life, as we investigate the sordid and murky history of the world of banking and high finance and the people who run it… with an iron fist encased in a velvet glove.

This book is an indictment, not just of the totally corrupt financial system that today permeates the whole world, but also of the people that control it. Their crimes against humanity are legion and so far-reaching that their insidious influence now extends into and corrupts virtually every element of society and it is these so-called ‘banksters’ – banker-gangsters, who are responsible for all the death, destruction and misery in the world today.

John was born and raised in a small village in the Pennine hills in ‘Last of the Summer Wine country’ in rural West Yorkshire in the north of England, but now lives on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast, overlooking the North Sea.

He spent most of his working life as a corporate slave to the IT industry, before ‘seeing the light’ and finally escaping from the dreary, soul-destroying confines of the corporatocracy over twenty years ago.

Since then he has been a full-time professional, geopolitical researcher, analyst, public speaker and author, having written and had published eight books to date, including this one, as co-author with his very good friend and writing partner, Shannon Rowan. His first, The Falsification of History was, and continues to be, a great success and established his reputation as a writer of ‘real’ history, as opposed to the usual lies we are fed by the corporate media in all its forms, on a daily basis.

John has also extensively researched the Titanic myths and legends and has published two books on the topic… RMS Olympic (2013) and Titanic’s Last Secret (2014) (a novel based on the factual RMS Olympic book), both of which propound the theory, backed-up with plenty of evidence, that it was not RMS Titanic that sank on that cold April night in 1912, but her identical twin sister, RMS Olympic—and outlines in great detail the reasons for the gross deception, and how the hoax was facilitated and subsequently covered-up.

In May 2016, John published the largest book to date in his growing portfolio, Behind the Curtain; a huge two-volume, 600,000+ word exposé of the fraudulent world-wide monetary and banking systems that prevail today and the people who run them with an iron fist encased inside a velvet glove. This book outlines precisely how those who are able to create money from ‘thin air’ are able to use that fraudulent ‘money’ to control almost everything else in the world and how they have distorted history and science for centuries, to pursue their own sordid agenda and create a false reality for humanity.

His next work was a new ‘take’ on the JFK assassination, JFK—A Very British Coup, (2019) which ‘names and shames’ the ‘British Crown’ as prime movers in the plot. And the latest, published in February 2021, The Falsification of Science, is a sister volume to his first, The Falsification of History. This is a huge volume of work, edited by—and with significant contributions from Shannon, exposing all the ‘anti-science’ tactics employed by the draconian ‘powers that shouldn’t be’ in their never-ending agenda for the total subjugation of the human race.

Great book, John Hamer collates some fantastic information to build the true picture in the world today. His previous book on the Falsification of History is also really really good and a must buy. My only issue is the lack of references/sources in the books. John did not make any of this up, it is mostly all true as far as can be evidenced, however in the book he doesnt present enough links or sources which would help the reader in their quest for knowledge and confirmation of these points. There are a few points which I have looked into afterwards and couldnt find conclusive confirmation so I worry that some of the information is repeated, and from where? A good example of showing sources is from the highly contraversial Professor, Nicholas Kollerstrom in the book Breaking the Spell, where he puts so many references and sources in the book (almost too many) that the reader can evidence the facts as much as possible. Anyway, dont let this take away from the point, John Hamer's books are great and will help to open most people's minds as to our history.

John Hamer is a universal historian because he understands that the driving force behind modern history has been control over the Money Power - the power to create money. He details the nefarious deeds of the banksters to keep control of the Money Power. Each chapter in this volume is a book in its own right.
This book is part of the Great Awakening. I will be reading more of your books. Thank you for your research and writing.

I started reading this on kindle unlimited and 5% into the book I realised I had to buy the hard copy because there were so many things I wanted to note or highlight. History at school back in the 70s was dull and boring. This is how I like my history, warts and all. Amazing knowledge and a good writing style. I highly recommend this book if you are prepared to question what you think is real.

I read Icke & Ganser. They dwarf compared tp Hamer. Not everything was new to me, but usually better explained. Reading it should be mandatory. 1800 pages & never boring.
