I think what I enjoyed most about the book was the strong connection between those two main characters. No matter what drama was going on around them or between them, there was always a sense of their powerful connection, which is so key to this kind of story.
There were also some really fun supporting characters who kept things interesting and meant there wasn't really a dull or quiet moment. Becky's writing has a great pace to it which keeps the story moving and pulls you along with it.
All in all a great, fun read. I raced through it. Would definitely recommend to others!
Chloe's best friend Noah is a talented musician, he finds himself in the latter stages of a TV talent show competition. Chloe is questioning everything in her life apart from her friendship with Noah, heading out to New York to support him she finds herself making difficult decisions on the way. Noah is struggling with the new lifestyle and challenges thrown his way, Chloe once again becomes his rock in the centre of the chaos. Will their friendship survive through everything and will they finally be able to admit their deepest secrets?
A great read, I loved the Peter Pan references.
The book is really well written and has you wondering what its really like for the winners of reality show winners and those around them as the media and the fans go out of control.
Its a friends to lovers book, that again, is written so well, you really imagine thats its happening right before your eyes. It may have taken the pair time to actually get together, but they needed the right time to realise their feelings and, well, to be single at the same time.
This is certainly an author I will be looking out for as I have a feeling that I will love all of her books :)
REALLY looking forward to reading more...
The twists and turns in the story kept the pace up while also managing to focus wonderfully on the turmoil that Chloe and Noah are experiencing as they try and get used to the roller coaster ride that Noah’s life is taking them on!
Definitely a recommended read, with an extra chapter and accompanying playlist available on the author’s website that is well-worth a listen.
I liked this book , however I found it slow and a bit boring in places. Noah is a bit of a saint when it comes to sex. Meaning for weeks during the book as he becomes more famous he gets no action. It is a nice story, but if you like the nice girl taming the bad boy rock star book then this is not for you.
