WHY??!! Why on earth did I wait so long to start this series? I loved this.
Holden Brooks *Sigh* He's so god damn perfect. He has a troubled past but he's not broken. It still haunts him and is still very real but he just.. *sigh* he's just perfect ok? He knows what he wants and he's not afraid to let that be known but he is so sweet too and can be emotional if he needs to be. He's been hurt in the past but he knows when fate is handing him something so good. That something good coming in the form of Maddie Waters He's just so perfect I want to cry.
Madison Waters- I really liked her! She was different to what I'm used to. She wasn't low in self-confidence but she wasn't overly confident or cocky either. She was refreshing. She was hard to pin down because work was her life. She didn't seem to let love into her life.Madison has her life planned out. She's been working up to graduating and becoming a damn good Lawyer. Nothing was going to get in the way of that. Nothing. Of course except For Fate and Holden Brooks.

<b>" Paralyzing blue eyes held me in place, stunning me with their raw beauty. I had no idea what to compare them to, but they were unlike any color I'd ever seen. They were far more beautiful than any sky or ocean </b>

This was a beautiful, sweet, sexy, southern love story. Did I mention it's southern?? I'm Irish but I swear I was supposed to be a southern girl. sigh. I'm obsessed with it and you get that all in this book. The accent. The way they speak. The just everything! I really loved this one.

Wow, what a story I really really enjoyed the journey of Maddie and Holden.
Little miss perfect ohh well not so perfect any more screwing her boss an all; at the law firm she works at, wish is a dream of hers in her careful taught out life plan.

What happens when what you though you wanted clashes with what your heart actually desire??

Leaving Boston for a short visit to Mississippi Maddie meets the down right Hot Panty melting Holden with his southern accent, smooth enough to melt butter.
Holden has not always has an easy life but he escaped his personal hell Texas five years ago to move to the small Mississippi town. He now has the life he wants its not perfect but it keeps him on the right path.

Their first meeting was love at first sight, well only Holden acknowledges that fact Madison fights her feelings for him. But it was a loosing battle because their chemistry and connection is just off the charts and its not long before their passion set the pages on fire.
Love always find its way into your heart when you least expect it and that could not be more true for these two. But can two people from complete opposite worlds find a way to make it work?

This book has everything and it was very well balanced, Love, Romance, Angst, heartbreak, Intensity, Funny.
It was very well written more than well its beautifully written, and you will just fall in love with the characters and story.
At the end of this book there is a sneak peek at K Langston next story and let me tell you it left me panting for more I can't wait to read more from the talented new author.

I enjoyed reading every minute of this book. This was my first read by K Langston and I loved it. Holden was such a sweet, caring, romantic and sexy alpha male, ticking all the right boxes to get your heart racing! Madison lives in Boston and works as an assistant at a law firm, she put herself in a situation that could ruin her career but was unable to get out of, luckily fate is on her side and a phone call from her mother has her going back home to her sick father. On her ranch she meets a stranger who is under the hood of her jeep. Sparks fly and the chemistry is on! I loved Holden, he's definitely a strong alpha male who went after what he desired and that was Madi. What Madi feels for him she tries to simmer down as she is too afraid to get emotionally involved after what she's been through. The banter between the two was fun and adorable. Whilst Holden is intent on making Madi his, she plays with his emotions, not willing to give him a chance, luckily she has good friends and family around her to make her see sense. As they try to make a relationship work heartache arrives and misunderstandings tear them apart, with Holden unwilling to let her go, and falls under deep, thank god for Archer lol! His love for Madi was so heart rendering and beautiful. I loved that she had to eat her words and Holden was unresponsive when she finally fights for what she wants. A really good romantic read, thoroughly enjoyed, really looking forward to reading Katy and Archer's story yah!

This one was mostly about lust and sex. One week to fall in love? Their 'love' happened too soon, too quickly. Came across to the reader as 'insta lust'. A rapid succession of sex scenes kicking in before they even had the chance to get to know one another made this 'erotica' rather than a romance story.

Madison returned to her hometown because of her father's ill-health. Met Holden and that was 'it'. Sex scenes just about popped up any place indoors and outdoors. He went all possessive, she responded with a few token protests, then it was 'instant' love all the way - until she ran away over a misunderstanding caused by another woman who was also in lust with Holden. A very brief 'break-up' followed by yet another sex scene to facilitate the 'kiss and make-up'; and that was it. There was no pacing and no progression to their 'relationship' as such. What they had was just a series of sex sessions. There was mostly 'noise' and little or no substance to this book with nothing to define it as a love story between two people. A quick read that didn't make it stand out among so many other 'instant lust/love' books almost exactly like it out there. Just as well that I only paid 77 pence for it.
