4 OMG THE EPILOGUE STARS!!

This was a really good start to an MC series that will evolve beautifully I think. Shay and Bowie have a fast paced story. He is asked to protect her by her brother Jeremy (Lock) after her abusive marriage collapses. Lock and Bowie were in the military together and despite now leading very different lives , they maintain a strong bond. The inevitable attraction flares between Bowie and Shay and they have some seriously HOT moments together. Add into this all the crazy stuff going on around them and you have yourself an addictive book.

So why not 5 stars? I found Bowie was changing his mind about Shay a lot at the start of the story (although it was mainly his inner monologue) and also, I felt their relationship was super fast to start. Also there were quite a few editing issues but that is just my own hang up!

The story is told in both the H/h pov. The chapters are quite short and snappy at times which I liked. Each chapter is titled rather than numbered which was quite quirky. There are some heart pounding passionate scenes. Lots of swearing and violence as per the genre of the MC book. Lots of Alpha males staking claims, Club Whores causing trouble and some really off the walls crazy going down. I loved it!
There is no cliffhanger in the romantic sense but you are guided into the next character's story by the epilogue. And crikey...that was an epilogue that tipped the warm and fuzzies I was feeling straight out the window.
So , excellent ending, good cast and the promise of far more to come. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed the story (it was MC so you know what you are going to get) and thought it was an engrossing fast read and I loved that it was full of MC action.
The characters are typical for this genre, dirty talking alpha and a leading lady that needs saving. They certainly had some hot scenes, however, I would have liked to have had a bit more of them connecting on an emotional level.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read and I will definitely continue with this series and look forward to the next book.

SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY (film)

That's what this book reminded me of at first, Laura's husband was sick and twisted he blackmailed Laura into marrying him using her mothers illness and medical bills to get what he wanted, he then tried to change her into his dead wife with surgery and hair colour taking away the Laura she was and changing her into Gwendolyn & for 10 years kept her away from her family until she called her brother for help.

Laura had to fake her own death and with the help of her brother went to live with Bowie one of the savage outlaws which is when she became Shay.

What her brother doesn't know is since they shared time in the forces and spoke all about his sister Bowie already had feelings for her.

This has such a brilliant start. Man turns girl into the image of his dead wife. It has a Hitchcock feel to it.
The girl, Laura, finally snaps and has to get away. She does, with the help of her brother, straight into the arms of the Savage Outlaw MC and Bowie.
Of course, even with a change of name and appearance, doesn't keep the bogeyman away...
This was really well written and kept my attention. I got really involved with what was happening.
Suitable for older readers due to content.

First off I love Bowie he is just everything you want in a tough MC bbf. This has a different feel than other MC books I've read and that's because of Shay's story and how she send up in his care. It has so many layers that's as you read it's like peeling an onion, the more you read the more is revealed. The epilogue is in the future and I can't wait to read the next in the series to fill in the blanks.

I absolutely love shay & bowies story, what a couple.... I loved everything about this book it didn't feel like the other mc books I read as this concentrated more on the couple and what they were going through. I can't Waite for Tin-mans story and I hope we get Tag,Rachel, Rollo , & Tokes story anyone's as long as we hear more about the Savage Outlaws. Well done Emily Minton a fab read that I'd recommend to anyone who loves mc books xx

This is only my second MC book iv`e read and I seem to be getting hooked, I loved this book and it looks like there`s more to come in Tin Mans story. The storyline was brilliant and kept me on the edge throughout most of the book, the sex scenes were well written and explicit which added to the rawness of the main character Bowie. I would highly recommend this book.

This book is a good read Its N C book with links to other NC books by popular authors, Chelsea Cameron The story was okay it's about a girl who was forced to be someone else and her Journey to freedom to be herself and fined love and family After leaving everything behind to start a new life away from her crazy husband I found this book was dragged out and wished it would just get on with it and reach the important parts of the book Don't no if I would read the next book in this series
