About the Author

A true romantic at heart, Nancy Corrigan is convinced there’s a knight in shining armor for every woman (or man), but you won’t find damsels in distress in her stories. She adores pairing alpha heroes with women strong enough to match them and bring them to their knees. She also enjoys flipping the traditional roles in romances because her motto is—love and people should never be forced to conform to anyone’s norm. She holds a degree in chemistry and has worked in research but now focuses on ensuring quality. She considers it the perfect outlet for her as she’s the first to admit she has some OCD tendencies. It carries over into her writing life too. While engrossed in a novel, she has a habit of forgetting to eat and sleep. Fortunately, she’s married to her own knight in shining armor who understands her oddities and loves her anyway. They reside in Pennsylvania with their three children, dog, snake and guinea pigs. Her other interests include tattoos, animals, classic cars and all things spooky and sexy.

Devin is struggling with his cats due to his mind being broken under torture many years before. He isn't prepared to give in though, and continues to do his best for his Alpha. On the hunt for Megan's sister, Molly, he gets into a fight with some lions and accidentally injures a human whilst his mind is blank. Once he realises, he does what he can to save her life, which includes making part of a bond with her. Lena is a very cagey character as she doesn't know who to trust, but doesn't actually explain any of her reasons why. She has to take responsibility for her actions when things take a turn for the worse.

I love Devin, but then I'm a sucker for the broken male (in books!). Lena's character grew on me, although I was shouting at her too when her suspicions overrode her common sense.

The general overall story arc continues, with more characters being involved and woven in. Once again, no editing or grammatical errors ruined my enjoyment of this story. It was nice to see a cameo appearance by Rafe and Jasmine from book one. You are left with a question about one of Lena's sisters, which I can't wait to find out more about. Apart from that, I think that Devin and Lena's story is wrapped up nicely whilst still leaving the overall story open for further developments. Definitely recommended.

* I received this book from Once Upon An Alpha in return for a fair and honest review. *

He sacrificed his sanity to save his sister and every day since, Devin Moore is in a constant battle of wills with the three crazed cats he houses until he meets the one woman who can sooth the savage beasts in this pulse pounding paranormal romance.

Lena will do whatever it takes to protect her sister including fighting her attraction to Devin and the reader can’t help but be drawn to these strong, charismatic characters as they both fight tooth and claw for their what’s theirs. The emotional turbulence can be felt with vivid intensity as it flows from the pages as both Lena and Devin are torn by the choices that face them and their past personal demons that have shaped their lives which grips readers by the heart while the sizzling chemistry between them spices things up and adds to their emotional angst and making Devin work extremely hard for his true mate in this fast paced, smooth flowing plot that thrills readers with suspense, excitement and romance.

The search for the missing child adds spine tingling tension as well as adrenaline pumping excitement with lots of enemies searching for her as well which keeps readers on the edge of their seat and with the additional spice of some conflicts between friends due to a bit of jealousy, there is never a dull moment. The intriguing events keep the reader glued to the pages as the well written scenes paint vivid images that make it easy for the reader to become immersed in the story.

Like I said in my previous review, I was completely enthralled in this thrilling story from the very beginning and with the revisions having slight changes and imparting additional scenes there was so much more to enjoy and I can’t wait Favorite Obsession to be released so that I can discover all the juicy improvements in it as well.

Oh Devin beautiful damaged Devin, how could you not love him!
He took his sister Miras punishment and suffered for 30yrs but still feels the guilt of failing her in the first place. Because of the rage that takes hold, he hurts his true mate and has to part bond with her. His crazy cats are calmed by her giving him the first peace he`s had in 300 yrs they want to claim Lena. Can he convince her to trust him enough so that they can save Molly and Gwen (her sisters) and maybe convince her that she belongs with him. Lena has her own demons to fight, swearing off relationships especially shifters so being around a sexy shifter is confusing and arousing at the same time. Misunderstandings and over heard conversations causes Lena to run but in running has she put Molly and Gwen in danger. Not all is at it seems, with those that are supposed to help and guide them with there own agenda can they save each other. Beautiful Mistake, Beautifully Written! Its good to get into the mind of the characters instead of them being glossed over by insta love. Can`t wait for Josh and Miras book.
