I've debated over writing this review, and I think it's because of a myriad of issues.

Firstly, I'd like to state that I think there is a good underlying plot line, but unfortunately I felt that certain things swamped and swallowed the story until it just became irritating and annoying. Book 1 was by far the best of the lot, and in some ways I'm glad I purchased this as a bundle as the cliffhangers would irritate me otherwise. Having said that, I do not believe this series / trilogy is worth the price. At 1.99 maybe. But at 4.77 definitely not - if I could ask for my money back, I would. I have read a lot better for a lot less. Sure, you get the page count BUT there was so much repetition that I ended up skipping at least 50% of books 2 and 3 so, although there's nearly 1,000 pages, I cut a lot of that out because it was tedious and monotonous.

The repetition was a big issue for me. I think it may well have been done to up the word count, which is pointless. It did nothing to move the story forward, and I as the reader became increasingly bored with *seeing* an event happen and then have two or more of the characters discuss the event in great detail when it could have been covered in a line or two of the narrative.

Another big issue for me was the *heroine*. Her internal reasoning for why she did things was unrealistic, flawed, and annoying as anything. Part of this was because she kept doing the same thing over and over again, each time apparently learning, but in actual fact never learning anything. Her character arch was so all over the place that it made me end up disliking her to the point it bordered on disgust at her actions. This also links to the repetition because it was just the same thing over and over again.

I honestly don't think words alone can do justice for this amazing story. Book 1: I fell in love! The murder, intrigue, sex, friendships, relationships, exs all had me hooked. By Book 2 I was tense, angry, frustrated, tearful, u name it. So frustrated with Alex for not telling Olivia the truth, Olivia constantly running away. Too many lies and uncovered truths but I just couldn't put it down. Book 3 blew me away. Devastated with all the kidnapping, murders, etc. My emotions were all over the place. Crying one minute, laughing the next. I so did not see the twist coming at the end but boy, what a bastard. They got what they deserved. Honestly wasn't sure if Olivia was going to make it but so glad she did. They had been through so much, it wouldn't have been fair to rip it all away at the end. There's not many books that have me this emotionally exhausted by the end. Alex & Olivia's story will always stay with me, they have left their mark. Not many authors can do that for me, so thank u Tracy. Dying to read Cam's story. Not sure if my heart can withstand Vanished ;-) but I will wait with much anticipation for the next chapter with the Burnhams. Five stars just isn't enough, i'd easily give it 10*!!

I really liked this book but the constant change in POV was confusing and I feel that this could have easily been done in 1 book and would have made it so much better. The characters were great, but Olivia became annoying with all her constant running. The storyline was brilliant and had the potential to be a 5 star read it just needed to cut the unnecessary middle bits.

So I liked being able to read a trilogy as one book. Had I read the first one only I would have given up. Olivia drove me absolutely mental with her antics, I could happily have shot her myself. There is standing on your own two feet, being independent and then there is this careless and selfish crabby bitch who I cannot respect. I think Adele was actually more human and was straightforward on what she was after.

I haven't read a story in a long time that has had me hooked from start to finish, I can't believe who it was I would of never guessed. It's a MUST READ for those who enjoy a love story with secrets, love, lost and sex.

It was alright, I've definitely read a lot better, the storyline wasn't gripping enough although the twist was something I wasn't expecting, however the writing was a little thrown together, slightly immature and predictable, apart from the twist at the end, Olivia was just crazy and extremely annoying most of the time, it took me a while to finish it because, I just wasn't that into it. In my opinion a very average book.
