This is a good book - nicely written. The characters and plot are great.
The trilogy was a lot shorter than I expected and felt rushed in parts; missing important chunks of the story for example, when Star and Jake finally start to build a close b/f bond.
If it wasn't for these issues this book would have been fantastic and scored 5 stars, the plot twists are brilliant and totally unexpected.

Maybe I expected more from this trilogy after reading the pearl books, which I loved & couldn't put down. The 3 books in total are just under 400 pages, which isn't a lot, the character's and storyline could be really good but I felt the first 2 books were a slow build up & the 3rd was rushed. The conversations were unbelievable in some situations and if it had been another author, I wouldn't have bothered finished reading it, the star trilogy is not a book I'd recommend to anyone.

What a great read, loved the storyline and both Jake and Star characters. Arianne bought all the characters to life with true to life feelings and emotions. Sad ending for Leo tho which was a shame as would liked to have know his story more. Glad that the book ended with happy ever after.

We were introduced to Jake Wild and Star Davis in Shooting Star. Even though the ending left me flabbergasted; I managed to control my urge to either pm the author and tell her how cruel she was, or do a bit of Kindle bashing! I did neither and patiently waited for Falling Star. The cliffy in this book was even better, and it actually left me praying that Star wouldn't succumb to Leo’s advances when she was at her weakest. Shining Star is the conclusion to this young, beautiful and gifted starlet’s story who has to overcome more than one personal problem. Both protagonists’ POV is narrated chapter by chapter in a well-thought-out and solid plot with excellent banter. As an animal lover, I especially liked the way the author had integrated some interesting facts about a species in danger and I just loved Jake’s dog, Fierce.

'"And eat up, Fierce, you've got a job to do today."

Ms. Richmonde knows what she’s talking about! The trilogy revolves around the film industry; how it ticks and how a film comes together regardless of the setbacks. I really don’t want to ‘let on’ but I will tell you that Jake, an English film director who is making “Skye’s The Limit”, life’s going to come to an abrupt standstill when he discovers that his leading actress has disappeared into thin air with his right-hand man and confidant, Leo. Obviously he thinks the worst; however, after discovering who was behind this happening, truths are revealed. You always want what you never had, and now he doesn't just want Star; no… he needs her. Jake has managed to keep his feelings for her at arm’s length, but is it too late for him to prove he’s capable of changing his ways?

A fabulous story! Full of twists and turns and with Arianne’s fine attention to detail. Having read all the books in the Pearl Trilogy I couldn’t wait to read The Star Trilogy and I wasn’t disappointed. Set in Hollywood with a ‘will she/won’t she’ movie star and an equally messed up movie director, both trying to sort out their past issues. I wasn’t sure I liked the heroine at first but when I’d finished reading Shooting Star she kind of grew on me and there were times also, as the story unfolded, that she left me exasperated. The twists and turns of the story leave you wondering what’s going to happen next. This is a steamy romantic story that will also keep your interest and leave you wondering which way the story is going. I am glad I read this as a boxed set as the first two books left cliff-hangers which I don’t think I could have coped with and reading each book back to back was extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend.
