HASH(0x9b9b6d20) out of 5 stars Interesting on many levels 8 Jun. 2014

Format: Kindle Edition
This poem builds on Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky" in a way that challenges the reader to question traditional or poorly informed ways of thinking. One enters Carroll's fantastical world but encounters a few surprises. As a speech-language therapist, I agree with the teacher who posted an earlier review, as I feel that adults and students from middle school on up will all find something to think and talk about. The poem runs a bit long, but it sustains your attention and by the end, you too may be speaking in iambic foot!

Excellent poem of redemption and forgiveness. As a teacher, I kept thinking that this would be an excellent study for middle school students. Would make for some great vocabulary and poetry lessons!

This is a great read for fans of children's literature, Lewis Carroll, and just plain good poetry. Read it for yourself, read it to your children.

Really liked this. Captures your interest and moves the story along nicely. Frampton's writing packs a lot of imagery into a fun, quick read.

A charming and heartfelt twist on an old story (many old stories, actually). Looking for more from you, G. M. Frampton.
