The story takes you alongside Drowsy Bear's journey through the different Rainbow Caves using some lovely relaxation techniques. Some of the story (because of the meditation elements) feel a bit long winded and I wasn't sure my (usually full on) boy would listen to it all - but he loves it!
I also have a very bad sleeping two year old, I was really hoping he would respond to it, however I think I was expecting too much of him to lie and listen to a long (ish) story without many pictures. The story is great to fall asleep to, so I'm going to try and record me telling the story and play it to him as the last story of the night.
Great book, recommended for little ones who find it difficult to switch off at night time.
A real find, we love Drowsy bear too! I recommend it as we use it all the time, it has helped our bedtime routine.
It is a calming, relaxing read and the kids say it really helps them to feel calmer when they have had a busy day!
