At last the story I've been waiting for, the follow up to Wait for You. This features Tess who is Cam's sister and Jase his best friend. Cam and Avery's story was the subject of book 1.
Tess and Jase shared a kiss a year ago that's the only contact they've had since then. But Tess's knee injury means she can't dance at the moment, so she now finds herself face to face with Jase on a fairly regular basis at the same college.

First of all I'd like to say that overall this is a well written romance with characters that it's easy to feel a connection with. Both Jase and Tess come with baggage, I guessed Jase's secret immediately. Jase is a really emotional guy, and at times this really ticks Tess off. He does blow a bit hot and cold with her. Culminating in him doing something that was the cowards way out IMO. Luckily the author manages to redeem him. Tess did stand up to Jase, but ultimately she could never resist him, I did not think of this as a flaw in her character, because he was pretty irresistible when he turned on the charm. This is an emotional read with many twists and turns, it also has a very dramatic sub plot that runs alongside Tess and Jase's story. This gave the book a lot more depth. The characters from the first book all feature and play their part in this. Cam gets to play the protective big brother, at times he might have been a tad OTT with that. All round a pretty good read.

Jennifer Armentrout has a wonderful skill of giving us characters to love, journeys to become invested in and Be With Me is a touching, infuriating and emotionally captivating read. If you haven't read Wait for You, stop here and go do so before you read this as not only is it an amazing read, but it will introduce to Jase and Teresa.

Teresa (Tess) is Cam's firecracker of a little sister and could be forgiven for not exactly being on top of the world. With her dancing career uncertain following injury and an abusive relationship under her belt, she's started Uni and is showing an admirable strength of determination and persistence. Jase surprised me; I wasn't expecting him to be the more vulnerable character, but I adored him and wanted to gather him up and just love him. He has secrets but Tess gets him in every way and he reveals himself to be an amazing young man with a huge heart.

Their journey isn't easy, but neither is it overly angsty. With moments where my heart went out to them along with others that had me wanting to bang their heads together, it's romantic, passionate, sexy, heartfelt and held some surprises.

A superb addition and one I would definitely recommend.

At first I was disappointed cos I thought this was a continuation of Cam and Avery. But what a pair Jase and Tess are. He is good friends with Cam a locker and and bit of a player . Only he hold a few dark secrets close to his chest. Tess is Cam's little sister who has always had a crush on Jase. Her life is thrown off course when she badly hurts her knee dancing and ends up at the same school as Cam, Avery and Jase. She has her own secrets to deal with as well as this crush. They get it together but will it last or is there too many secrets. Loved it.

I really enjoyed Wait for You and Trust in Me, and even though I knew Be with Me wasn't a story centered on Cam and Avery I was eager to read it. I've been fan-girling about JLA for the last few months, so it pains me to write this review because I was very frustrated with this book.

I'll talk about what I liked first. The writing as ever is superb. I loved that we got to see Cam and Avery some more and those scenes lifted the story for me. We were introduced to Calla and I like her, which is good considering I know the next book is a story about her life. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like a series that didn't center on the same main character all the time, but I have to admit that I'm loving that aspect of it now. Not only do we get to see other characters, we're still kept connected with the original characters, so bonus points for that.

I liked Teresa/Tess as an MC, though I wanted to slap her on many occasions for being such a bloody doormat. Now I can understand it to a point given her past, but the amount of times Jase kicks her to the kerb, and she willingly takes him back was ridiculous.

Onto Jase. I quite liked the sound of him in Wait for You but I hated him in this book. He's a total douche for the way he treats Tess, blowing hot and cold on a near daily basis! I get that he has issues, but that's no excuse for the way he treats a girl that he professes to care about. Quite literally, he made me want to hurl. He also seemed so arrogant about his looks and his ability to attract women who he never even kisses - oh please, give me a break. Though to be honest it's what they say about hookers, and if the shoe fits.....

The scene where they finally got together properly made my blood boil.

I bloody loved this. To be honest I didn't think anyone could measure up to Cam, but I think Jase did. Yes he pushed Tess away in the beginning, but I get why. I loved Tess, such a strong character - she knew what she wanted and went after it.

The story really kicks off at 65%, and I spent the rest of the book reading with baited breath.
