Where has this been all my life.
Manage to change my inner tube and put it back. ( if you have Schwalbe tyre and inner tube you know)

Bathed in the paranoia that I'll pinch the tube and ruin my freshly patched tire, with the clock ticking away and the daylight fading; I wonder whether I should just give up trying to put this accursed tire on the wheel and get my dad to do it for me again. A horrible vision of him putting the tire on within 2 minutes then smugly proclaiming 'you are not a Jedi yet', sends shivers down my spine.
These thoughts irk me deeply. If I can't put a bloody bicycle tire on, how can I ever do ANYTHING mechanical at all? Maintain and service my own vehicles? Save money on DIY around the house?? The doubt sets in and I wonder if I'll ever develop any mechanical sympathy at all. Am I destined to be a pathetic keyboard tapping office-worker all my life, becoming instantly queasy at the mere suggestion of any activity involving screwdrivers, spanners or torque wrenches?
NO I screamed to myself in the kitchen, my purple chinos covered in dirt from the unwashed bicycle. This won't do! There must be a better way! I'm simply not using the right TOOLS!!!
After a few minutes of googling I found the "BBB Cycling EasyTire Tire Changing Tool" on Amazon. My usual qualms about buying the random unbranded flimsy crap that the hellhole of Amazon is unfortunately swamped with were temporarily forgotten. Such are the actions of a man in desperation...
A day passed and the tool was delivered. The cardboard box at the back door was a ray of hope. I hastily tore the box to shreds and removed the sacred bead tool. After a minute or two of messing about with the tire I reached that dreaded point. The last few inches of bead remained! Tentatively at first, then with increasing zeal; I squeezed the bead bit by bit back onto the tire using the "BBB Cycling EasyTire Tire Changing Tool". Within 30 seconds, the task was completed. I stared dumbfounded at the £8.88 piece of plastic on the table. It was a miracle. A christmas miracle. From that point on my life was irrevocably changed... Forever... Hallelujah.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 January 2024Style Name: SingleVerified PurchaseAfter an hour wrestling with a tough road bike tyre I remembered I had one of these, went out into the shed and there it was. Two minutes later the last bit of my tyre was on - no damage to my carbon rims, no poking holes into the inner tube with tyre levers.
Very tough nylon, use it correctly and it will do the job. This must have tool can can save you time effort, numb thumbs and a lot of swearing!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 May 2023Style Name: SingleVerified PurchaseId bought some vittoria corsa speed 2 for my TT carbon deep section wheels and I was struggling to get them onto the rims, it was as if they were 10cm too small. I’ve seen posts about people struggling to fit tyres and thought they just aren’t trying hard enough. However, I now know that’s probably not the case, these tyres were so tight that once over the lip of the rim, they snapped down with a twang like a bow string. These scissor type levers helped them one fairly easily. I can’t recommend these highly enough and couldn’t fit them without them. Id tried silicone spray, washing up liquid a hair dryer all the tricks, nothing else worked.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 December 2024Style Name: SingleVerified PurchaseChanging a particularly tight road bike tyre, initially thought it was working pretty well, but as soon as it started getting a bit stubborn, the end snapped off - not up to the job, had to revert to a set of plastic levers which worked fine.

It isn't foolproof, and I've still needed to apply a fair amount of force to get some awkward tyres to seat properly
