Format: Kindle Edition
As you might guess from the title, the bulk of this book is taken up with a huge battle that envelopes the city where all the various good guys, bad guys, wolves and dragons have wound up. With multiple points of view, deadly sieges, skirmishes beyond the walls, assassination attempts and political wrangling, there is always something going on. By the end of it all, the current threads are all tied up, but there is plenty of scope for the saga to continue.

Loved it, this author has become a big favourite, again another one I couldn't put down, can't wait to see what he comes up with next and hope that they just keep coming.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting story, if long and slow 6 Aug. 2016
By Jim - Oregon - Published on Amazon.com

Although I enjoyed the story, I found the pace terribly slow. As is common with books these days, it is a series and although this book sort of raps up the story from the previous three books (sections?), it really does not conclude the story. And, as is also common, there is considerable proofing and editing that was needed throughout the series. Even so bad as the author misnaming one of the wolves. Hope the wolf is more forgiving than I suspect. But, as I say, this sort of thing is so common today that one just has to try to overlook it.
