I have been teaching colour to students and painters for about 40 years.
Jane de Sausmarez combines the work and ideas of the great writers and teachers on colour such as Albers and Itten, plus some new insights, into a really thorough course of exercises for the student.
Any one who follows this book seriously will have a very good understanding of colour and a set of practical skills of colour mixing that will equip them for a painting career. I don't think there is teaching of this thoroughness in the Art Schools. I am recommending this book to my students.

A book that explains colour theory clearly, shows colour phenomena and explanes why everything to do with colour is relative.
As I wrote the book myself I'm bound to give it five stars
