Review

“...Citro’s research is immensely interesting, and if you want to stay current on what’s happening in the world of the “memory of water” research and of imprinting information onto water for healing effect, you will want to read this book.” (Joan Parisi Wilcox, Quantum Health, December 2011)

“Linking the work of Ervin Laszlo on the Akashic field, Rupert Sheldrake on morphogenetic fields, Richard Gerber on vibrational medicine, and Masaru Emoto on the memory of water, Citro shows how the universal information field connects every person, plant, animal, and mineral – a concept long known by shamans and expounded by perennial wisdom.” (Gaia Media Group, January 2012)

“Wow—a mind–altering book.” (Alice R. Bernston, New Connexion, July 2012)

“By crystallizing the theories of such thinkers as Aristotle, Newton, Einstein, and Böhm and covering such diverse topics as homeopathy, DNA, and information theory, the fundamental structure of matter and energy, the curious properties of water, and holographic paradigms, Dr. Citro has penned a profound work that teaches the reader about both the limits of perception and its vast possibilities. This is the kind of book that gets the mental wheels to spin--a fine accomplishment, indeed!” (Marc J. Seifer, Ph.D., author of Transcending the Speed of Light: Consciousness & Quantum Physic)

The Basic Code of the Universe is ‘two books in one’ and contains important and in some respects essential knowledge. On the one hand it demonstrates that the neglected ‘submerged’ side of things can be experimentally verified in ways that can make a significant contribution to our health and well-being. And on the other hand it provides a cogent exposition of the new scientific paradigm that can account for the observed facts, a paradigm that changes our most basic understanding of the fundamental nature of the universe, and of all things in it. In both respects the book is detailed and remarkably complete; hardly anything remains to be added. Recommendation: read this book, read it carefully, and note the key assertions.” (Ervin Laszlo, author of Science and the Akashic Field and Quantum Shift in the Global Brain: How the)

From the Inside Flap

NEW SCIENCE / SPIRITUALITY DNA dictates the physical features of an organism. But what dictates how something grows--from the division of cells in a human being to the fractal patterns of a crystal? Massimo Citro reveals that behind the complex world of Nature lies a basic code, a universal information field--also known as the Akashic field, which records all that was, is, and will be. This basic code directs not only physical development and behavior but also energetic communication and interactions among all living and non-living things. The author examines re-search on consciousness, quantum physics, animal and plant intelligence, the power of intention, emotional fields, Kirlian photography, and the effects of thoughts, emotions, and music on water. Linking the work of Ervin Laszlo on the Akashic field, Rupert Sheldrake on morphogenetic fields, Richard Gerber on vibrational medicine, and Masaru Emoto on the memory of water, Citro shows how the universal information field connects every person, plant, animal, and mineral--a concept long known by shamans and expounded by perennial wisdom. Putting this science of the invisible to practical use, he explains his revolutionary system of vibrational medicine, known as TFF (Transfer Pharmacological Frequency), which uses the information field to obtain the benefits of natural substances and medications in their "pure" informational form, offering side-effect-free remedies for health and well-being. MASSIMO CITRO, M.D., is a medical doctor specializing in psychotherapy and the discoverer of pharmacological frequency transfer (TFF). He is a member of the Club of Budapest, the founder and director of the Alberto Sorti Research Institute (IDRAS), and also has a degree in literature. He lives in Turin, Italy.

Format: Hardcover
Dr. Citro is an Italian psychotherapist and originator of a system of vibrational medicine known as Pharmacological Frequency Transfer (TFF). He is also founder and director of the Alberto Sorti Research Institute, and he lives in Turin, Italy.

In my mind, this book could be thought of as a companion book to David Wilcock's The Source Field Investigations [reviewed in New Dawn 129.]

After a short but well-written Foreword by Dr. Ervin Laszlo, Dr. Citro maintains his thesis that behind all the manifest universe is a hidden, universal field of information that forms a basic code governing what we detect with our senses and our measuring instruments. He says it is responsible for producing the hologram we call reality, with all its many facets of development, behaviour, and communications - not just for living things, but also for all inanimate objects, from the domain of the microscopic to the world of the macroscopic.

Citro ties together ancient classical ideas of the aether with more modern concepts such as Sheldrake's morphogenetic fields, Jung's collective unconscious, and Cayce's and Laszlo's "Akashic Record." Called by different names at different times in history, Citro describes this un-manifest existence as "the other side of things," "the living vacuum," and "pure matter." Pure matter is continuous, without mass, still, and non-temporal. What it produces, "combined matter," is discontinuous, coalesced into mass, and moving in space-time.

"The backstage," says Dr. Citro, "the antiworld of our world, is the vast sea of pure matter, the fabric upon which the universe is embroidered. Combined matter is continuously generated from it to renew whatever dies: this is how the universe breathes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Do we live in a holographic universe generated by a field of information? 30 Dec. 2012
By Alan S. Glassman - Published on Amazon.com

Combined matter is continuously generated from it to renew whatever dies: this is how the universe breathes." It may be that we will never see pure matter because it is concealed by what we now call dark matter/dark energy.

Lying between pure matter and combined matter is "informed matter," the field containing the code which facilitates the exchange of information. This would be equivalent to `The Matrix' in the terms we use today.

The book identifies a large body of historical and contemporary work by numerous individuals and teams that concluded there is, indeed, a basic code of essential data that defines the field of substance. It forms a kind of map that sets the parameters of physical existence as well as sensations, emotions, and thoughts.

For instance, it is responsible for the templates that regulate the shapes, sizes, and functions of all things, from subatomic particles to human beings to galaxies. It also facilitates non-local communication and interactions between various entities. And, it governs the limits of those entities via feedback loops.

Dr. Citro gives many examples of experiments around the world that indicate the limits of our perceptions. His own investigations conclude that reality remains veiled to us, and that everything is merely the interpretation within our heads of what is going on both inside and outside of us.

He delves into the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto and others with water, into the latest research on consciousness, quantum physics, DNA, animal and plant intelligence and communication, Kirlian photography, the mysteries of shamans, and a host of other findings related to the concept of fields. He emphasises that what we may call "magic" is just the science of the invisible that is as yet unknown to us.

Citro's practical work in the effectiveness of using the vibration of medicines rather than the actual medicines themselves offers fascinating and important homeopathic proof of his thesis.

The book builds to the final chapters on the holographic universe (a la Michael Talbot) and the virtual world of "the stage managers."

Dr. Citro concludes (keeping in good company with such historical figures as Plato, Jesus, the Buddha, Newton, da Vinci, and many others) that, "To human eyes the real (the backstage) seems virtual, and the virtual seems real. If we could free ourselves from the senses, we would discover that things are actually solid holograms produced by the game on the world stage. They exist in other forms. The mind, which in turn belongs to the virtual reality, cannot imagine forms that are different from those apprehended by the senses. These forms are the fields, the essence and true reality of things. This is the secret of all secrets, the secret humans have been chasing after for millennia.... The world is a virtual game in which we have agreed to represent ourselves. We continue to build it while we interact in it. The world is alchemy. What is above is similar to what is below, because everything is virtual."

5.0 out of 5 stars mind altering book 29 Aug. 2012
By New Connexion Journal - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Italian doctor Massimo Citro thinks outside the box of the current dominant scientific paradigm. He challenges readers to understand that everything that we believe to be real is actually only perceptions received through our senses in our own individual reality. Readers may appreciate the in-depth scientific aspect to the writing. Nobel Peace Prize nominee Ervin Laszlo provided the foreward for the book and gives his esteemed and respected recommendation. Citro draws on the research and works of many international scientists. Taken as a whole, the information presented will jolt readers into being convinced that indeed, the world is not as it appears. We come to learn and understand that our world is as it is simply because that is how we experience it as human beings. Reality is adapted to the sensory systems we were born with as humans. But that is not the truth. Wow -- a mind-altering book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating MUST READ! 17 Mar. 2014
By Craig Mooneyham - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
This is probably the most fascinating book I've ever read. I can't praise it enough. To oversimplify a not so simple theory posited, if not practically proven, by the author: the universe is information manifested. He gives detailed accounts of numerous experiments conducted that either prove or strongly suggest his hypothesis - which I feel is beyond hypothesis and in the realm of theory in terms of the scientific method. He covers much ground, including certain paranormal phenomena, spirituality, theoretical physics, and much more.

Be advised: a number of chapters are very heavily laced with scientific jargon - most especially chemistry - whenever the author is fully explaining certain phenomena and/or detailing experiments (which he often gives step-by-step account of). Whenever you hit these sections that - if you're like me - you may have to reread several times to fully digest, do not be discouraged. The next chapter will often be more easily read by the layman.

When you learn about the properties of water and how it takes on information from various stimuli such as medicine, you will be fascinated at just how much you never knew about the most abundant resource on our planet (at least, I was fascinated). The book sort of brings it all together in terms of natural phenomena, supernatural, paranormal, psychic, and/or spiritual phenomena and gives a possible grand unifying theory that makes sense, all the while keeping things within a scientific framework and emphasizing the need for greater scientific scrutiny and research when it comes to those phenomena that fall outside the scope of the purely empirical.

I can't recommend this book enough. It's fascinating, exciting, and revelatory, and opens doors of possibility for the magic of this world to eventually be explained through the work of scientists, and no longer branded as hogwash, fantasy, imagination, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Home Is Where the Interpretation Is 22 Aug. 2014
By Frank Juszczyk - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Dr. Citro has written what would otherwise be a provocative book, but if anyone is provoked by it, he or she simply hasn't been paying attention to the cutting-edge trends in quantum mechanics for the past fifty years. The book's subtitle: "the Science of the Invisible in Physics, Medicine, and Spirituality", says it all. Citro is no retiring wall-flower. He doesn't beat about the bush or hesitantly offer some debatable ideas for our consideration. Basically, he tells us that this is what we now know about the nature and constitution of what we take to be reality, and we have no excuse for continuing to live in an outmoded, narrow, and willfully blind version of it.
Citro takes it from the top. "We live by perceptions," he says. "Reality is veiled; nobody knows it, and everything is an interpretation. We are 'blind the the world'; we are not looking outside, but rather INSIDE our own heads." You can't get much plainer than that.
Having got our attention, Citro proceeds to sketch in the history of the scientific progress that brought us to this present conviction. His data is ample and well-chosen, which he organizes around a central principle: what we perceive as physical reality is the constant communication between what he calls "informed fields". He offers plenty of specific evidence that this is so, including photos, diagrams, and drawings to support his thesis.
Citro's main interest is in the information-gathering and communication capacity of water. This once odd little property became the basis for homeopathy to which Citro has applied a transmission technology that he calls TFF or Transfer Pharmacological Frequency. His apparatus "imprints all the properties of the medicine, including the curative ones, into the water sample, which conserves them for later administration to an organism." So Citro is no mere armchair theorist. He applies his knowledge to a scientific method involving specific cases which produces significant results. This has to raise his level of credibility considerably.
Citro's writing style is muscular and punchy, testifying to the self-assurance with which he makes his claims. The Basic Code of the Universe is a fast read and not overly technical. While Citro is partly promoting his TFF treatment system, he also delivers an impressive amount of evidence from quantum mechanics to support its latest view of the true nature of reality.
What I like most about Citro's (and Laszlo's) book is its "look-me-in-the-eye" tone, which dares the reader not to be changed by the information he lays out. It's compelling and puts the reader on the spot: either face the inconvenient facts that Citro presents, or live in an irrelevant, archaic delusion about what constitutes the external world. Citro puts it this way: "Our existence is full of virtual reality moments, unreported experiences that demonstrate that virtual events are possible. Why don't we think then that all of our existence, that the entire universe is just a virtual reality? That what we perceive are only shadows and it perhaps is time to leave the cave?"
For myself, when I step "out" into a world that really isn't "out there", I can step decisively because Massimo Citro, M.D., has shown me that it is only my interpretation of what I think is out there that is doing the stepping. I believe him, but it makes for some tricky footing.

5.0 out of 5 stars A profound exploration of the nature of perceived reality 25 Nov. 2013
By Jed Shlackman - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Massimo Citro is an Italian physician who works in the field of energy medicine/information medicine, using information field transfer to apply the effects of medicinal substances. In this book he gives an excellent presentation of ideas that synthesize physics and metaphysics, spirituality and biology, to clarify how information fields and codes generate the perceived reality we experience. If you resonate with the concepts of the "Matrix" and the holographic universe then this book will cover a lot of familiar concepts. Citro reviews the research and ideas of pioneers in science such as Fritz Popp, Cleve Backster, & David Bohm, as well as various mystical writers, exploring how energy and information function in creating the illusion of physical reality. This book covers some topics that are essential for developing an understanding of how the Universe operates beyond the superficial five sense perceptions that we take for granted. The introduction to the book is by Ervin Laszlo, another great scientist and philosopher of our era who has written books covering similar ground. If you are looking for a good book to review vital issues that bridge science and spirituality then this one would be a great choice.
