OK, first of all, WHO has the last name: Loser??? I don't know. Why can't it just be, like, Barry Brown or whatever? I THINK there MIGHT be a series of these Loser (still confused by that name) books. OR, it might just be a bunch of of random books and Mr. Barry Loser (whaaaaaaat) was multi-tasking while he was writing these books about the Loser family (I should avoid saying the word 'Loser') and he was like,
" Drink the tea. Write a sentence. OK. My mum is a loser. Eat the cookie. Write something. Aha! My dad is LOSING this game of.. er.. Chess. Done." (I get carried away)
However, despite the strange name, My Mum is a Loser is quite funny if you're about 6-8 years old. Little brother borrowed it, and he read it about 3 times and even on the third time round, he didn't lose any of the giggles. So I thought
'Hey, let's have a little read then,'
So basically, the whole story is about this little dude called Barry Loser (Noooooo! It's Brown! Barry Brown!) and his mum is being really sweet and nice to his friend, but mean to him. What a Loser (I'm dying)!! You get me? Once Barry pretended to be dead, and his mum is usually so dramatic, but because his friend was around, she was, like, "Oh no. Barry's dead." in the most realistic way. NOT. So, time for the Overall.
Title: My Mum is a Loser
Age I Recommend: 6-8
3-Worder: unique, funny, loserish (made-up word ALERT)
I rated it 4 stars because I found the peice about the TV quite boring.****
Here is a list of books I have related to this title:
#1-I think my mum is a superhero
#2-Barry loser my dad is a loser.
I find all of those books interesting but mostly this one. I would recommened this book to people 5-9 years old.
I do not think I have a book like that so good.
This book gives you a lesson to be learn't but I wont tell you that because it will spoil the fun and the point of the book.
I could not take my eyes of the book for a single second because of how good it was.
I have read the sample many times and I have not read a single thing on my kindle since I got it.
As an 8 year old I have got age 11 reading skills so the words are easy to read.
I have got 34 other books I could be reading but all I am doing is writing reviews, reading them and reanding that oarticular book! I want to thank the people who used up their time to make that book. Now I shall stop wasting your time so you can buy the book. Hope you like it!
