Value for money...A+++++++
Ease of use...B+ (See bad point, no eye piece rain cap)
Comfort...A+ (even single hand use it's easy to hold steady)
I find the image quite crisp, clear and decent in low lighting.
It's also small enough to go into the smallest of small rucksack or the coat pocket quite comfortably.
For me the biggest plus is the fact you can easily use it one handed. I always have it in my coat pocket whilst dog walking and I can easily hold onto the dog and focus it with the one hand.
What it lacks / Bad points
-rain cap cover for the eyepiece lens. A tethered cap like the object lens would be useful
(you can buy a 42mm cover for £2 on ebay)
-tripod mount screw in wrist / neck strap would be a huge plus.
(I've made my own neck strap that screws into the tripod fitting)
-occasionally you notice a slight blurring where you have strong colours meeting BUT you need to spend of £150 before you get optics to remove that. I notice it sometimes but it doesn't worry me
-don't bother with the belt loop on the bag it's flaps about like a sail in the wind if you're doing any serious tramping. Just stick it in the pocket
Hope this is useful for the starter you'd struggle to find better value for money. The quality of the optics are very good for the price
This monocular is brilliant, especially for the price - the image is so clear, far better than my old binos, and you really can hold the scope with one hand and focus it and hold the dog's lead in the other.
It's also decent for looking at the stars - it's light polluted where I live but I managed to still see Andromeda galaxy as a faint, fuzzy blob - I clearly need a telescope too.
Highly recommended, and the supplier I bought from was good and it arrived in no time.
Optics .. good
Build quality.. Good
Supplied with a case and table top tripod.
we are well pleased with this little gem.

Bright, sharp picture. The front lense is 50mm diameter, but the ocular lense is quite large too - see how quantity becomes quality. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Amazon Customer
The finish of the product and the little extras in the box such as a carrying pouch and mini tripod were lovely. The lenses were coated and the dividing ring was smooth. Read morePublished 4 months ago by MD
