An emotional feel similar to Fifty Shades of Grey. It is full of emotional angst, scorching love scenes, and a compelling story line (Dear Author)
Far sexier than Fifty Shades of Grey . . . this is an erotic romance that should not be missed (Romance Novel News)
Several shades darker and a hundred degrees hotter than anything you're read before (Reveal)
The secondary characters are just as flawed as Eva and Gideon, which makes Bared to You richer and more real to me than many of the contemporary books I've read in a while (Romance Junkies)
A sophisticated, provocative, titillating, highly erotic, sexually driven read and is extremely well done. I enjoyed Fifty Shades of Grey, but I loved Bared to You (Swept Away by Romance)
This book was just incredible. I couldn't put it down! The sex was so hot and the relationship was so juicy that I just had to know what was coming next! (Read Our Lips)
Obliterates the competition . . . unique and unforgettable (Joyfully Reviewed)
It literally blew my mind and after finishing it, I wasn't able to stop thinking about it. Bared to You is an intense novel full of hardships, heartbreak, overcoming obstacles, trust, and most of all, trying to find love in a relationship that may seem hopeless. I truly and wholeheartedly was amazed by this book (Happy Ever After)
Hot and steamy . . . awe-inspiring (Sizzling Hot Book Reviews)
From the Inside Flap
Our journey began in fire . . .
Gideon Cross came into my life like lightening in the darkness - beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white hot. I was drawn to him as I'd never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily . . .
Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And he would become the mirrors that reflected each other's most private wounds . . . and desires.
The bonds of his love transformed me, even as I prayed that the torment of our pasts didn't tear us apart . . .See all Product description

I bought this book (and the rest of the series) almost 2 years ago and have read it several times since and it never gets old!
The start of Gideon & Eva's story....
Gideon is a young hot sexy mysterious billionaire hotshot who is instantly taken by Eva, a blonde smart sensuous edgy fun woman (although when he first meets her, she's crouched on the floor and ends up on her backside so this is an insta-love story!)
Anyways, Eva has had an abusive past and is very insecure yet dependant and she knows there's more lurking beneath the surface of Gideon.
Can the two of them overcome their pasts? Can they open up to each other? Will jealousy ruin things? Will Cary (Eva's best friend) ever stop punishing himself?
Oh the questions are endless, the drama is on going and the passion is never ending!
I loved it and can't wait to read the next book - again!!
Both the hero, Gideon and the heroine, Eva carry in abundance their own demons and emotional baggage. They start a relationship that is electric and passionate but full of jealousies and misunderstandings. The connection and sexual chemistry between the two is palpable and more than believable. If I had any qualms about their relationship is that they both seemed to be full on immediately and I for one like to see more of an emotional build up between the characters before they start declaring their love. That being said I really did feel the emotional connection between the two and can't wait to see where their story is heading. The fact that they share a lot of the same insecurities and traumatic backgrounds would suggest they would be too similar but it just seemed to open them up to each other all the more.
Bared To You was certainly more than an erotic novel. There were characters introduced and storylines hinted at that left you intrigued throughout and certainly crying out for more. This is a series so we've a way to go to find if they get their HEA but I for one am routing for them and can't wait to read what else is in store for them.
Yes, I know I am late coming to this party. What can I say? I thought there were going to be three books, so I held off until closer to the release of Entwined With You before I started. Then it was announced that there will actually be five books, so I decided to go ahead and start them... I really couldn't wait any longer. I have been dying to find out what all the fuss with Gideon Cross is about.
"I can let you in, Eva. I'm trying. But your first response when I screw up is to run away. You do it every time and I can't stand feeling like any moment I'm going to do or say something wrong and you're going to bolt."
I want to start off with what I didn't like about Bared to You, this way I can end the review on a positive and not with me moaning. What didn't I like? Eva Tramell. Plain and simple, I can't stand her. I used to think that the most annoying female narrator was Ana from FSoG. Let me just say right now, you will never hear me say another bad word about Ana, she and I are officially BFFs.
I actually lost count at the number of times I rolled my eyes, yelled at my Kindle, updated Goodreads with a snotty comment about her, or had to physically put my Kindle down to calm myself. Eva is the queen of bad decision making. I can maybe count on one hand the number of times I actually agreed with an important decision she made. Honestly, I wanted to throat punch her. She starts fights for absolutely no reason, she is petty, and quite frankly vindictive. You hurt her precious little feelings, she will do what she can to doubly hurt yours. Ugh.
"He was the kind of guy that made a woman want to rip his shirt open and watch the buttons scatter along with her inhibitions."
*whew* I'm glad to have that out of my system. Now, what did I love about Bared to You? Do you even need to ask? That would be the one and only, Gideon Cross. Holy bejesus, he is one fine man. I had little doubt going in that I wasn't going to like him. I love the confident, arrogant, dominate male characters... and Gideon Cross is the King of them all. But it is not just his dominance... he is so very sweet. And some of the things he says will make you weak in the knees. We are talking some MAJOR swoon moments from Mr. Cross.
"I've always seen you, angel. From the moment you found me, I've seen nothing but you."
I don't want to compare Bared to You to other well known erotic romances, but I must say the sex scenes here are far superior. The wording used changes quite often, so you don't really get bored with them. I never got the feeling of same 'ole same ole'. Each and every interaction between these two is hot, and honestly off the charts. There is no denying their sexual attraction, that's for sure.
"It's probably best for me to work off some energy before I get you naked. I'm sure you'd like to be able to walk tomorrow."
I am not going to go on and on about the reasons you should read this book, because frankly I'm sure those that want to already have. You either love these type of books or you don't. I'm just sorry if you are in the 'don't want to read them' category, cause you are so missing out on Gideon Cross.
I am excited to carry on with the series, Reflected in You being the next book. I just hope that Eva grows up a little so that I can actually start to like her, instead of dreaming up ways to kill her.
"Oh, Eva." He rubbed his cheek against my damp face. "I must've wished for you so hard and so often you had no choice but to come true."
Rainy Day Reads
Gideon Cross is a rich sexy man with sad, heartbreaking secrets he meets Eva on her first day at his company and the two are instantly attracted and drawn to each other they crave each other like drugs, both of them are flawed and damaged, with secrets from their pasts that could ruin their already fragile relationship, both have issues with relationships and both can't stop wanting the other the whole book is great, I couldnt stop reading it dying to know what was going to happen next its more steamy than fifty shades with a better story and hotter characters, I like that Eva can hold her own and that she too has her own share of past problams rather than it all being the male character like in fifty shades, dont get me wrong there would be no crossfire series without fifty but I must say Sylvia Day has done a better job with book one
