Significant upgrade from 8GB Vengeance! It being CL8 and 1600MHZ actually makes a good bit of difference from CL9. Closing games, alt tabbing, doing multiple memory intensive tasks, alt-f4'ing or quick exiting games is a breeze! With 8GB GTA 5 and Witcher 3 would make my computer slow up a bit as it was clearing data away from the 8GB so to speak, it needed time to catch up.
However after installing this, all those issues are completely gone! Wow I mean i can run GTA 5 and Witcher 3 at the same time and alt-tab between them and still come on here, use the internet/steam/music and all sorts with no slowdown as compared to 8GB (apart from keyboard lag, but that's GTA 5 related). It makes a noticeable different, having virtually double the RAM, and it being faster, is worth every penny of the upgrade.
Could not recommend enough, Ballistix are an excellent brand (years ago I had there 2x1GB package before switching to 8GB Vengeance and now back to Ballistix) and the Tactical range is a fantastic range with the perfect balance of high performance and price.
Plus, it's low profile too compared to Vengeance RAM so this fit in perfectly too and was an easy fit. You don't need to waste money on higher Mhz or lower CL timings, because this...this is the RAM to get and does the job very very indeed, no complaints at all!
