dont get me wrong amazon is a great site but when it comes to descriptions some times it sucks.
the price is 10 to 20 pounds cheaper from other sites and you get 2x 4 gb moules and NOT 1x 8 gb as writen in the site , deep inside
i knew so i ordered 2 kits in orer to have 4x4. Now the mem. is outstanding with the good old micron chips it has no set backs in insatallation and 2 xmp profiles at 1600 mhz at 1,35 v or 1,5v. It worked with these mobos ; asus a85m msi 990 gd65, giga z68 m2 d3
msi z77 msi z87 gaming g45 giga fm2+ msi a78m .
the uefi bios sets them at 1,5 v but in case of hashwels cpus and mobos its best to use the 1,35 v. as the chipset and cpu controller
(voltage controller) hate high voltages. On the other hand i managed to set 1,625v at a 990fx and set it at 1800 mhz with memtest
running all night . It is a great memory and a good overclocker for the lot of you and good choise for htpc
