Alfred thought is was an amazing BSB story after reading 2 others in the series. He loved the code the clairvoyant used in the act. The story was full of tension and excitement as usual with plenty of twists and turns. Wiggins was fab but Sparrow turns detective in this book.

I'm a bit of a Sherlock fan and when I started reading these books I certainly wasn't disappointed, the little fellas in the gang (and girls) and really good characters that you can relate to. Just the best read!

I have a 10 year old. He's already read the Sherlock Holmes short stories, which are really essential background reading, and just couldn't put these down. Most highly recommended.

I bought this book for my 10yr old son. I've been reading them first before passing them on as they are well written and great fun to read. Recommended.
