That's a compliment by the way.. very good short stories that draw you in quicker than you imagine. Only read these if you are a fan of the fantasy / surreal type e.g tom holt , Christopher moore and Mark Caine who I've just discovered. Come on Naomi , more deadish please! And if you don't know what deadish .....you'll just have to read them..

Another excellent book from Naomi. I have become a big fan since reading her 3 "Death,,,," series ,which l would also thoroughly recommend, especially if you enjoy sharp, blackish, droll humour. Look forward to more from this witty "Aussie."

5.0 out of 5 stars Best short-short collection yet 22 Nov. 2011
By Rich H. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
Being yet another collection of eight short-short stories from Naomi Kramer, this time on a ghosts-and-goblins theme.

Kramer's stories tend to improve with each new set, and this one is no exception. The manic humor, wit, and general mayhem that carries most of her earlier stories is somewhat muted this time around, in favor of a refreshing and surprising depth and emotion that is not easy to pull off in a story only a few pages long. Unlike many earlier efforts these feel like complete stories, and good ones. Lots of chuckles, and a couple of genuine "wow!" moments.

Unlike some of Kramer's other collections this one is not (at present) a freebie, despite being at most a 20-minute read, and so what? This is the best 99 cents I've spent in awhile. Buy it.
