Book is a bit slow and the plot is not very compelling.
Not sure bad behaviour is illustrated .Not one of her best.

I love Sheila O Flanagan novels and eagerly await the latest .....but this one is far from her best.
Darcey is a likeable 'anti heroine' but she doesnt inspire that much feeling towards her - just a passing tolerance, bordering on mild irritation, of her constant bumbling.
Nieve is so unlikeable from the word go, that like other reviewers, I couldnt have cared less what happened to her, my only wish being that she would have faded out of the story early on.
Unlike previous novels by this author, many of the secondary characters are so 'grey' as to be almost non existent, and sadly they therefore dont add the necessary background to the plot lines.
If you have never read Ms O Flanagan, DONT start with this one, try the earlier, and much better stories.
Here's to a return to top class writing with her next novel.

It was good, but she has written better.

I think possibly what may be lacking is that for a large portion of the book the two main characters Nieve and Darcey are a continent apart. Invariably this means that there is less opportunity for dialogue between the two. For my mind this is a pity as I think O'Flanagan's ability to bring characters alive through their dialogue is one of her strengths.

A story of 2 halves. I liked the character of Darcey and it was her story that kept me hooked. However the character of Nieve held little appeal so I found it hard to care about her eventual fate or what would happen to their friendship.

An enjoyable read, not her usual page turner, but recommended.

Am I just stupid but the ending was too abrupt, I almost thought I had got a book with the last 10 pages missing. Normally I love her books, this one left me feeling something was unfinished. Otherwise she is am amazing writer.

I was very disappointed in this book, as I had read every one of her other books and enjoyed them.... this was just plain boring.. so boring infact that I could not be bothered finishing it when there are so many other good books to be read. I have honestly been put off reading any future books by O'Flanagan. I know that O'Flanagan orignially worked in the finance world but she had already covered this in another one of her earlier books. I think with some authors try to put out too many books in too quick a succession so maybe that this is what happened here...

Well I have to say I wasnt very keen on this book -did not live up to sheilas usual expectations! I rooted for character Darcey but I wasnt drawn to her and couldnt relate to her like I do with most characters in books - I found the book warbled a bit on and on about nothing and a few times I skipped a few pages as it was just going on about "nothing" ! I dont think I would recommend this books - not like I would her others - a very forgettable read!

Darcey seems to have it all, a good career, a apartment in Dublin, and a killer wardrobe. But in Darcey's past is the truth, a man that she loved was stolen away by her then closest friend Nieve. Nieve has blackmail her way to the top and now she want to come back to home everyone including Darcey that she has made it to the top. But when you are at your highest, it is the easiest to fall the hardest.
"Bad Behaviour" is the written by Sheila O"Flannagan and it was not one of her best. I didn't think my of the character Nieve, I think that she didn't really what she deserved and I kept waiting for it to go back to Darcey's story. The ending of the book kept we wanting more and for a minute I thought that I was missing some pages. Overall, "Bad Behaviour" was not one Ms. O'Flanagan better books.

I really enjoyed this, it was totally unputdownable and I loved the storyline. Darcey was a fabulous character and I was rooting for her all the way and wondering how the revenge was going to be played out. Nieve on the other hand was a silly cow! Read it from cover to cover in two days and loved every minute. Just as good as Sheila O'flanagan's other books. Excellent
